High into the hills of Taiwan. Whilst a bit of walking we didn't find it too onerous and we are in our late 70's. Our wonderful guide Howard devised a route which was faily flat as there are lots of uneven paths and many stairs Went to jifen Water fall which was lovely and had a sky lantern experience in the middle of a train track just before the train came. Charlie was the most amazing driver/guide/person we could have ever hoped for. I could spend the whole day writing about our day out with him. We had the most incredible experience with our driver in Kaohsiung. From the moment he picked us up, he was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted, adjusted the itinerary to fit our interests, and never once made us feel rushed. He taught us so much about this beautiful country. He took us through beautiful countryside, temples, Monkey Mountain, and hidden scenic spots we never would have found on our own. His driving was safe and smooth the entire day, and he was so thoughtful and accommodating with my family. You can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. What stood out most was his kindness and heart. This did not feel like a standard tour — it felt like spending the day with someone who genuinely wanted us to fall in love with Taiwan. We absolutely did. If you are considering booking this tour, do it. This was the highlight of our entire trip, and we will remember this experience forever. Ms Huang was an executives and assistant She could not fluent English but she had used translation to communicate very well She was so considerate that she got wheelchair for my wife and took her all the way to Shifen waterfalls. She keeps everything in her car to help you for your routine needs

Because of a delayed connection we missed our flight to Taipei. So we were rebooked for the following day. We found out about the delay after the 24 cancellation window was passed. I messaged the provider directly and called Viator. The Viator help desk did nothing for me. They just said it was outside the window so no changes were possible. The provider response was give them the new flight information and they would be there. And they were!! The car was very nice and the travel time was less than the quoted time. I would use them again.

Wonderful and relaxing day touring Yangmingshan National Park. Our delightful guide from Edison Tours was terrific. He had excellent English and knew a great deal about the park. He follows the itinerary perfectly, kept us all on track, and knew when to talk and guide then give us free time. He provided excellent, clear directions and descriptions for all out stops and even helped take some great photos for us. I probably would not have had a chance to visit the park on my own during my stay in Yaiwan, so taking this trip proved to be a pleasure and long, busy, but highly enjoyable day. We even made a stop at the "greenhouse" at the park for a very traditional Chinese lunch and it was not only a wonderful cultural experience, but the garlic and chicken soup I ordered was delicious and perfect for the day. Edison Tours, incidentally, was extremely efficient and clear with their communications and meeting directions. Super cheerful, friendly, helpful.

A truly amazing and fun experience. The entrance was a little confusing to find if you are very familiar with the area. The restaurant workers next door were able to point me in the right direction! The instructors were so friendly and patient. Makes even the most novice chef feel like a pro. Would recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a half day activity. We had the most incredible day exploring Taiwan with our tour guide, Oliver. He took us to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, the Golden Waterfall, the Yehliu Geopark, and even made a special stop for us to light a lantern and make wishes—plus several other thoughtful stops along the way. His timing was *perfect*; we always arrived just before the big bus tours, which made every experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Oliver was not only knowledgeable—sharing fascinating history and stories about Taiwan—but also genuinely personable and so easy to chat with. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Skip the crowded big bus options and book this tour instead. You’ll get a much more intimate, meaningful, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

This was the best choice for our private tour around Taiwan. Since the beginning communication was great, everything was perfectly organized ahead of time to make sure we had the greatest experience. Our guide Wilson was extremely nice! He took us everywhere we wanted to go and made sure we didn't miss anything worth seeing. Wilson made our trip very memorable by taking awesome pictures of us in every place we visited! He clearly explained visiting spots, gave us directions, and organized pick up times and locations in a time-effective manner so we made the most out of our time in Taipei; i wouldhihhly recommend this your for your visit to taiwan!
