What are people saying about San Miguel de Allende

It was a nice...
It was a nice introduction to the history of San Miguel de Allende, and also good for recommendations for restaurants. It was a little difficult to follow the stories of the families that founded the town, but we saw some hidden spots that we would not have seen on our own. Overall a very good tour

Horseback riding, lunch, warm springs soak. This experience has it all!
This combo horseback riding - warm springs trip was terrific! We rode with escorts, including two Mexican cowboys, through the countryside outside of San Miguel de Allende, for 2 1/2 hours. The scenery was beautiful and the horses were easy to ride. My husband is an experienced rider and was able to ride faster and take small detours. I’m not experienced and very much enjoyed the easy pace. After the ride we had a home-cooked Mexican meal which was among the best food I ate while in San Miguel de Allende. Homemade tortillas, fresh veggies, agua fresca, chicken Milanese. It was so good! We then rode down to a warm springs location for a nice long soak. It was a great experience from beginning to end! Do it!

Excellent value, people and wine.
This proved to be an excellent adventure. Leo, our driver was both charming and informative. The winery itself was an idyllic location in both landscapes and buildings. This was paired perfectly (wine terminology) with the knowledgeable tour hosted by S Stephanie. She brought the story to life and added so much to our enjoyment. Now throw in several very enjoyable tasting options and you have an experience that exceeded our expectations.

Jesus was Exceptional!
The drive from San Miquel de Allende to Guanajuato was delightful as Jesus filled us in on the tour itinerary and gave us a historical and cultural framework that perfectly set up our time on the ground in Guanajuato. Once there he led us through the very dense urban core of the city and we were able to enjoy the many architectural gems and the wonderful plazas and public space. Highly recommend this tour in general and Jesus in particular!

In the Mexican state of Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende has long been a haven for artists, expats, and retirees drawn to the colorful and quaint Pueblo Magico (Magic Town). Fly over the beautiful center in a hot-air balloon or learn to make salsas, moles, and other regional specialties during a cooking class. And if you get tired of the easy life, other San Miguel de Allende tours amp up the energy by taking you hiking in the Sierra Gorda Queretana mountains.
