Our morning tour guide Susie was great to Hallstatt. She was engaging and fun. Hallstatt was beautiful. Loved having a few hours to explore on our own. The afternoon Sound of Music was amazing to see the sites and hear the stories and background of the Von Trapp family story and movie. Our tour guide Kylie was so FUN, and energetic. Loved hearing her tell the stories. She is very passionate about the Sound of Music and Salzburg. It was a long day but we enjoyed it immensely. The tour guides made it enjoyable. Highly recommend! I really have no words to do this concert justice. I am not an avid classical music fan but I do like Mozart and they also played Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which I love. It was breathtaking. A moment/feeling I will never forget. The musicians are world class. Don’t miss the opportunity to see them perform. You won’t be disappointed!

Johannes, our guide, was really knowledgeable. He took the time to bring us around and shared the history of the area, as well as lives of the people living there now. He brought us to a beautiful viewpoint for a photo, as well as recommended a cosy local shop for some schnapps. It was a nice surprise, considering I was only expecting to be brought to the salt mine. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely love to bring our children for the trip in the future!

Great day!

Getting to trek on snowshoes out to the Five Fingers viewing platform was a great experience, especially if you haven't seen much snow in your life. The scenery is, of course, incredible from up there. Hallstadt was charming as well, and the lake is like a mirror. Our guide Fritz was very nice and shared many interesting facts about Salzburg during the drive.

Incredible! A must!!

We had the Golden VIP ticket which I highly recommend, the value of the ticket is definitely worth it for the beautiful 3 course meal and drinks with a breathtaking view. The service was so smooth, the staff was fully on top of everything and very attentive. Our waiter was Singh and he really looked after us well, he’s an asset to the team there. The concert was absolutely brilliant, even if you are not a fan of classical music I would recommend it. The musicians were very talented, absolutely amazing. We had a fantastic night and are so glad we managed to book it. Thank you to all the staff and the musicians for a truly unforgettable night.

Top evening in Salzburg

This was a lovely experience. Service on the boat and at the dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the boat doing a few Strauss twirls! Dinner was most excellent in the fortress and the concert was superb - such talent and a good mix of shorter classical pieces set in the most stunning room. We were so glad we got to do this - very memorable and totally worth doing!
