Absolutely incredible experience! We booked just the balloon flight but decided to join the breakfast in a cafe portion too and it was great. Carlos is a great guide and if we could do it over again we would have booked the entire package - getting an Uber was very, very difficult at 4:30AM.

10/10 Experience!

10/10 experience from beginning to end. It is so worth the early wake up call. We were notified the evening before of our driver’s information and all pickup details. Pickup was very convenient from our hotel with drop off included. Our guide Krystal was amazing! She is a literal walking ray of sunshine. Smooth flight, good breakfast at the cave, and breathtaking pyramids.

Sunrise Above Teotihuacán, An Unforgettable Balloon Experience

Absolutely incredible experience. Floating over Teotihuacán at sunrise is something that’s hard to put into words. As the balloon lifts, you start to see the pyramids emerge from the early morning haze, with the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon standing out against the landscape. The light hits everything just right, giving the whole area a calm, almost surreal feel. The views stretch far beyond the archaeological site, with mountains in the distance and a patchwork of fields below. It’s quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly smooth, nothing like you might expect if you’re nervous about heights. If you’re on the fence, it’s worth it. It’s one of those experiences that sticks with you long after the trip ends.

Love the experience to see the pyramids from above and take in breath taking scenery in Mexico. Love the drone videos for a small fee of course. Didn’t think I was going to be sharing space with a lot of people (crowded) but overall best experience for my first time being in an hot air balloon.

Really made our honeymoon

Thoroughly amazing experience throughout, we felt well taken care of by all staff right from the hotel pick up. The flight at sunrise was breathtaking, you get a good amount of time afterwards to look around the archeological site, and we also enjoyed the mezcal tasting. The cave was a cool location to eat breakfast afterwards and service was good, if the food was a bit forgettable.

Beautiful and well organized

This was an amazing tour from start to finish. It is well organized and the staff are professional. We were told what kind of car would be picking us up and they remained in contact regarding arrival. Important note, it is cold in the morning while you wait to board the hot air balloon so bring a jacket or wear layers. I would check the weather for cloudiness because if it is too cloudy they reschedule due to weather, but they were very accommodating with that. The views, the food, the pyramids, and the extra little stop for tequila/liquor tastings was all such a wonderful time. I highly recommend this experience and this company!

Exceeded Expectations Gran Vuelo

11 out of 10!! There are many operators in the area but go with Gran Vuelo! They are very organized, excellent communication, and top quality. Pick up was 4:15 am, right on time, the drive there is not that long maybe 1.5 hours. At the shop they serve coffee and cookies, they weigh you (they will charge extra if over 220 lbs), and then you are off the the balloon site. We were one of the first ones up so we got a see a beautiful sunrise, exceeded my expectations. We got really close to the pyramids, it is a bit tight in the baskets, 5 people on each side. Landing was smooth and easy, I felt safe the entire time. No high pressure to buy the photos they took. Then on to breakfast in the cave, it was excellent and they had dancers perform. The tequila tasting was meh, it's your time to shop for souvenirs. The personal guide at the pyramids was very informative, top quality! Bring a hat and sunscreen it gets really hot during the tour, about 1.5 hours. You can also get souvenirs at the pyramids. Back to Mexico City, traffic was a bit heavy but we were back to our hotels by 2:00.

Allen & Leo were amazing. We felt safe the entire time Leo drove. Allen was very friendly. He smiled and answered questions throughout our time with him. The balloon ride was stunning! The ride was smooth and we took beautiful shots ourselves, and the video/picture package was absolutely worth it! Breakfast at the cave was yummy. I opted for the mushroom and cheese omelet. We had Mexican coffee and sorrel drink. The stop at the local space was cute. Learned about obsidian and various minerals and had a few tasting. The pyramids tour was educational. Remember to bring your sunblock, hat, & water! The stairs are high and steep if you choose to climb/descend. Our guide was knowledgeable Will recommend this tour especially with Allen & Leo as our guides!

It is very early in the...

It is very early in the morning but worth it. Fantastic experience, very friendly staff, thought I was going to be nervous but didn’t feel it at all. It was a bit foggy so we had to wait an extra half an hour before going up. Didn’t see much of the ground but the view of all the other balloons around was a beautiful sight.
