The Lake Como boat tour is awesome! Alessandro knew the right spots to eat, the best places to sit on the boat for the best views and was super knowledgeable about the history of the area. He was super friendly and very patient when we asked questions. The only down side was not enough time to explore because of the ferry and train schedules. Belaggio and Varenna definitely need more time because it is so easy to get caught up in the beauty. I would highly recommend this tour.

An Exceptional Experience

We had the most beautiful experience! Visiting lake como and doing this excursion with Mateo was definetely the hightlight of our trip. First, he was very flexible especially after we missed our train and he rescheduled us for a different time on the same day. Second, the service Mateo provided was 10/10. He was very sweet, patient and even stopped a few times so we could do pictures. Also, we felt safe at all times especially with my baby boy who also came with us. Wonderful way to explore around Lake Como!

This was a wonderful way to explore around Lake Como! I would not have wanted to navigate all the train and ferry schedules myself, and being able to skip to the front of the line every time was definitely a perk! We enjoyed having plenty of time to explore at Varrenna and Bellagio, and the hidden gorge at Ballano was beautiful. Our guide Alice did an amazing job the entire day and made the trip so enjoyable!

Great time in Como

This is the best way to see Lugano & Lake Como. Andrea was knowledgable and engaging. It made for a great day and I couldn't have imagined how we would have seen so much of the lake and Bellagio without being on the tour. And knowing that we wouldn't miss a boat because we were part of a tour was a huge relief when the lines were so long that those waiting were missing multiple ferries. Highly recommend for a great way to see the sites!

The meeting point changed from when I booked the excursion. We had not realized an email was sent a couple of hours before letting me know the pick up spot but that information did not change on Viators reminders or app. Luckily, we got booked for another trip a couple of hours later. The boat ride was great! Beautiful villas and only 2 other people were on our boat. It felt semi private.

Filippo was a great captain, his English was great and his boating abilities smooth and seamless. Now for the experience: can’t miss is words that describe it. Eye popping with narration from the captain sharing folklore, facts and some fiction (explained) about celebrities, oligarchs, and generations of owners that have kept Lake Como a bit of a secret and its own perfect oasis. Absolutely incredible! We loved the private boat tour so much and Alberto was amazing! I highly recommend this experience to anyone. It’s worth every dollar and was truely a magical experience. Alberto was so informative and so passionate about what he does. We got to see some of the most incredible mansions on the lake and learn about celebrities who are currently living there.
