There are likely some...

There are likely some mixed thoughts out there on seeing a dervish “show”, how can it be authentic if it is a paid performance? Watching the dervishes show their faith through music and movement was meditative and the meaning behind both was very interesting to follow. Learned something new! Dinner followed the dervishes and it was delicious! We went to a family-owned place, multi-generationally run, called Siirt Şeref Büryan 1892. Meal was served family-style and just so good (also had one of my faves perde pilavi). Lastly Zey, our guide, was so warm and kind. She made the evening.

Terrific tour with a Terrific Guide - Orhan

We booked this tour because it is perfect for cruise ship passengers. Our guide Orhan met us on time at the Galataport cruise port. Excellent guide. The tour took us to the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Haiga Sophia, a stop at local ceramic artisian shop, shopping at a local spice and sweets store and the Grand Bazzar. Orhan was great. He was detailed in explaining the history and customs of the sites we visited. He is very personable and professional. A friendly demeanor with passion for his job. He answered all our questions. Took his time walking with us and helped guide us back to our starting point on the Tram System. Recommend this tour and Orhan for anyone on a cruise stop in Instanbul.

Great tour

We had a great experience on this tour! Our guide, Muzaffar, and the driver were both fantastic. Everything was well organized and on time. This tour was recommended to me by a friend so I surprised my wife and travel buddies with a night out hoping it would not disappoint. I can say that it certainly didn’t disappoint anyone. We have been traveling for 8weeks and doing small private guided tours throughout Europe and this would be one of the best experiences if not the best. Our guide Zeynep was awesome, from her communication prior to the tour ensuring we had received all messages and knew where we had to meet, to the local knowledge of the Old City, walking the streets onto the amazing food culture and amazing city skyline views at night and capped off by the biggest feast of absolutely beautiful food along with meeting other travellers from across the world. You really can not ask for more but again Zeynep than confirms your private bus that drops you back to your hotel. Thanks Zeynep for a fantastic experience which was made better having you as our guide.

It’s about 4hrs journey to Troy. They picked us at the hotel in the morning. We took a ferry at Çanakkale for 25 minutes and ended up at the site. Our tour guide was Sunday. She was really impressive with the history and facts., We were lucky to have her as our guide. We enjoyed the time thoroughly.

A Nice Way to Experience Both Sides of Istanbul

This was such a great way to see more of Istanbul and experience both the European and Asian sides of the city in one tour. I really enjoyed being able to see so many different areas without having to plan all of the transportation myself. The Bosphorus cruise was one of my favorite parts. It was really relaxing and gave such a beautiful view of the city from the water. I also liked getting to see Istanbul from a completely different perspective after spending so much time exploring it on foot. The tour was well organized, enjoyable, and a really nice way to fit a lot into one day. I would definitely recommend it if you want to see more of Istanbul beyond the main tourist areas and experience both continents.

An excellent day for a solo Aussie lady

An amazing experience. Comfy air con vehicle from Istanbul to Canakkale followed by a nice relaxed lunch before the tour. Our tour guide, Ibrahim, was incredibly knowledgeable with excellent English and a great sense of humour. We saw a lot of sites and the tour was just the right length of time to get to see important sites and have time for photos etc. My grandfather landed at Anzac Cove as an 18 year old and went on to survive the Western Front and came home at the age of 22. It was very moving for me to see the beach where he would have first put his boots on Turkish sand. I highly recommend this tour and Crowded House Tours for really looking after guests. Awesome day.

We loved our tour with...

We loved our tour with Gulshen! She was very knowledgeable and we felt very guided and cared for as she took the care to purchase tickets for us while we were able to wait in the shade. It was very thoughtful and educational. She was also very accommodating asking us for our preferences and if we needed a break for bathroom or snacks. We also enjoyed the luxury van that drove us around! Very pleasurable experience, would highly recommend!

Not your standard tour, Better!

This was so very interesting and totally different than the standard tour. While I certainly saw a number of key sites and learned a great deal of history and culture this was the by no means a 'standard' tour. My tour guide was honest and open about the culture, the history, the city and anything that I asked. Additionally, I have to say, the lunch he took me on was one of my absolute favorites. It was clear why the locals ate there and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
