What are people saying about Guadalajara

Informative tour!
Andi was an amazing tour guide. She knew so much about the process of tequila making. I have been to many distilleries and I still learned so much from her and this tour. We enjoyed the restaurants especially the Ruins. The flavor pairings with the different styles of tequila was not only informative it was a great skill to learn. The only complaint I have is that we did not get to the final stop as the others on our tour were tired. Would be better to stick to the agenda so we didn't have to just be agreeable in front of the rest of the participants. Definitely recommend this tour.

The best Tequila Tour
10/10 recommend this tour. Ive taken many tours in many different parts of Mexico but this one is probably the best one! Hector, our guide, felt more like a great friend. He was very informative but very chill. Also never rushed us and his timing of the tour was perfect! Every time we moved on from a spot, it started to get very busy but because of his timing, he made the day flow so smoothly. I also loved that it was a small group, only 7 of us. I much prefer this over 40+ people. I just cannot recommend this tour enough but if possible, make sure its with Hector!

Angel is a rock star tour...
Angel is a rock star tour guide. Like most guides, he is very knowledgeable about the buildings and history and art and food of Guadalajara we saw. Where he stands above the rest is in his curiosity to learn from you and his ability to weave together seemingly different themes to provide you with a deeper appreciation for why things happened. I left the tour not just learning facts about the history of Guadalajara, but a deeper understanding of what makes this place unique and special.

Our tour guide did a...
Our tour guide did a great job throughout the whole trip. It was interesting learning the process for making tequila. I had taken another tour the day before at another tequila distillery in Amatitán, but some of the facts learned during this tour were not mentioned the day before. I liked that people weren't pressured into drinking as not everyone wanted to participate in the tequila tasting, and who were also able to choose how full of a shot glass we wanted. I think we could have been at the restaurant a little less time as once we were done eating we had to wait a while to move on to the next town. I also expected to get a free drink for the boat ride since it was mentioned in the post, but we ended up getting it after lunch for our ride to Ajijic, once we were in the van. It was tequila with squirt, but you couldn't really taste the tequila. Overall, it was a great experience.
