My wife and I had the best day in Chiang Rai, and maybe the best tour we've ever booked with Viator! The temples were absolutely incredible, once-in-a-lifetime, but what (or should I say who) made the day for us was our guide, Tong! He was hilarious, engaging, beyond courteous, incredibly accommodating, very knowledgeable, and he's practically a professional photographer. It wouldn't have been the same experience without him! Thailand Highlight
This trip was one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. Our guide, Pam, was incredible — thoughtful, knowledgeable, and such a pleasant person to lead the tour. We learned and experienced so much throughout the day. One of the biggest highlights was the walk through the jungle and visiting the small village. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Our guide on the trip on...
Our guide on the trip on may 4th was so lovely and knowledgeable- shared a lot about his own experience as a member of Karen tribe and the region we were in. The hike was beautiful and appropriately challenging at times — you will work up a sweat! The views were really amazing and this felt like a unique and special experience to have when visiting chiang mai

Tour with the best.
A wonderful way to experience Chiang Rai. Peter, our guide, was a wonderful conversationalist, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the various temples we visited and extremely accommodating and sensitive to our needs. Also, he was an ultra safe driver and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour and request Peter!

Shrouded by jungle-clad mountains and home to some of Thailand’s best food and most impressive temples, Chiang Mai delivers culture, history, and nature in equal measure. Chaing Mai tours let you experience the best of the Rose of the North: Spend the day at an elephant sanctuary, climb to a golden temple atop Thailand’s highest peak in Doi Inthanon National Park, and master local specialties such as khao soi (curry noodle soup) during a cooking class. Plus, day trips to nearby Chiang Rai reveal even more architectural masterpieces.
