What are people saying about Chiang Rai

Highly recommended.
We booked this activity the night of. It was during the rainy season so it was only my brother and I. Benja was super flexible and planned everything including our crossing into Laos without a visa. The tour itself was very informative and we really appreciated how knowledgeable Benja was about the temples and the golden triangle. We learned a lot! Overall, Benja was super friendly yet professional and very kind. Highly recommend booking with her.

Great full day out in Chiang Rai
Great full day out seeing most of the main attractions in Chiang Rai, though wish we could hv stopped at the giant Buddha, as we passed fairly close by. But otherwise it was a full day with a good buffet lunch.
Ping, our Guide, was super helpful and we had a great driver, Mr Anthony.
Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely do this tour!
Kear and Steve are GOATS (greatest if all time). Kear kept us entertained and taught us about his culture while showing us temples. Steve was a good driver who kept us safe. We loved them so much, we hired them for a second day and took us to the monkey caves, scorpion temple and many other exciting places we would not have gone. It was a special 2 days with them.

Challenging, but rewarding.
Challenging but very rewarding.
Steep first half of the hike, through dense vegetation. Recommend pants and long sleeve shirt.
Overall, you will be walking about 12km. Don’t forget the very friendly village doggos that accompany you.
A fantastic way to experience the hills and villages in Chiang Rai. Our guide Sun taught us a lot about local produce and plants. He was fantastic.

Amazing cooking class and instructor!
Amazing cooking class! At first you meet the instructor (Suwannee) at the white clock tower then you go to the market to walk around to purchase food for the class. She tells you about may ingredients esp ones local to the area and even purchases snacks along the way so you can taste. Me and my classmate, Nadia, made pad thai, papaya salad, khao soi, and banana in coconut milk. You have multiple options to pick from on the menu. Dishes can be customized as well for allergies. Suwannee is very friendly, an excellent teacher, and has a great sense of humor. She even takes pics and videos of you during the class then makes a mini movie of the experience to send to you afterwards! Recipes are also emailed to you after the class. Nothing is rushed and each dish is so enjoyable (to look at and even more when eating)! Definitely a must do if you are in Chiang Rai!!

Exploring Chiang Rai
What a fabulous day out touring Chiang Rai and surrounds. It was an early start but so worth getting ahead of the crowds at the White temple and the blue temple . We then went on to the black house to explore plus a delicious Thai buffet lunch. Next stop Kareng Village then to Choui Fong tea plantation . There was a slightly longer drive to The Golden Triangle and opium museum. Guitar, our guide was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly had the trip running to schedule so that we got to see everything . He allowed enough time at each stop to explore and take photos. The van was clean and comfortable with plenty of water if you needed. We highly recommend this tour (and G’tar our guide ) as a great way to explore many sites easily in one day.

Excellent tour of Chiang Rai
This is the second time we’ve done this tour with Sky. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we decided to do it again. It’s a very complete tour, and you get to see all the must-see places in Chiang Rai in just one day. Sky has a great personality, connects really well with people, explains everything clearly, and is always happy to answer questions. Bimbim, our driver, was also great and made the trip very comfortable.

Chiang Rai, the small northernmost city in Thailand, offers a wealth of attractions that you can explore on Chiang Rai tours, from incredible white temples to delectable local cuisine. Head out by bike or tuk-tuk, exploring the town, temples, the Night Bazaar, and more. Or, opt for a day trip option that includes visits to some of Thailand’s Hill Tribes, each with their own cultural traditions, or the Golden Triangle.
