Ayoub made our visit to the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, our camel ride, and lunch at 9 Pyramids Lounge an unforgettable 5-star experience. He was attentive, informative, and incredibly thoughtful from start to finish. He reached out the evening before our trip to introduce himself and provide a detailed itinerary for the day, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. His driver, Mina, met us at our hotel on time, and once we arrived at the Giza complex, Ayoub was there ready to welcome us. That’s when the fun truly began! It was another magical day in Egypt. Ayoub shared great information, made sure we were comfortable, and helped create such a memorable experience. He is also an amazing photographer and captured beautiful moments for us throughout the day. I highly recommend Ayoub to anyone visiting the pyramids!

Perfect day in Cairo

Great day with Egytpologist Kareem and driver Shadi. Saw ancient marvels and learned much of Egyptian history. Sampled delicious traditional food, saw how papyrus is made and used, explored exotic scents and oils, bought some lovely saffron tea and zatar from an exotic spice shop. This was such a great experience. I do not consider myself a "museum person" but with all the hype wanted to see what GEM had to offer. We booked this tour for our first day and wow I am so happy we did! Wehad was an incredible guide through the museum and I would highly recommend her to anyone! She is an Egyptologist and so so knowledgeable. She held my attention walking us through the museums exhibit for hours. She got our vibe immediately - you can tell she adjusts based on her audience and she 100% read us right and kept things engaging for us specifically. She knows how to deal with the crowds and really customized the whole experience based on the audience and the number of people in the museum. We had is incredibly kind and passionate about not just her culture but also making a connection with her clients. She took us to a government sanctioned jewelry shop after the tour and after going into other gold shops through Egypt I can definitely confirm she took us to one with very reasonable prices. I got a cartouche and got to watch them weld it in the back which was pretty cool. Highly recommend this tour.

Group dynamics are important

Different than expected, beause we couldn't really shop at the bazar. Spend a lot of time in traffic and in our group was a boring couple. BUT we loved the NileCruise and the guide really tried his best. Went out of his way to get the kids shawarma. To us we would prefer to do this without a guided group , what seems very doable. We would be more free and the atmosphere would be better.

We had the absolute best...

We had the absolute best day exploring the pyramids on a private tour with Ghada! She was amazing organizing everything, her level of knowledge unbelievable and I honestly don’t think we could’ve been in better hands. We chose the later pick...

We chose the later pick up because we were so tired from travel. Just know that the pyramids will be more crowded and to go inside the Greta pyramid it is very very hot and crowded at those times. So consider going early even if you’re tired. Mona was a great tour guide. Letting us take our time and taking great photos of our family. She was very knowledgeable. I loved the camel ride too. Make sure you bring money for tips for the camel ride and for the guide of course! We got our hair wrapped at the pyramids, more expensive probably but worth it! All the shops at the pyramids are very nice. We got gelato but you can easily get snacks or drinks. Lunch was just ok. They could choose a better spot.

Meya Meya Incredible Experience

Marco was amazing. His knowledge on Egypt was incredible and the way he described to us every detail was so fascinating and gave us something we couldn’t experience without him. He knew everyone which made the journey a breeze, helping us into cabs and dealing with hagglers and shopkeepers. He also took us to the front of queues and gave us a great experience to remember. I had a phenomenal tour with my tour guide Selvia and driver Raafat. Selvia in particular was such a treat: she was energetic and genuinely interested in helping people understand the unique aspects of Coptic Cairo as well as connecting with them. One can truly tell she loves what she does and shows deep attention to the history and stories that make each destination come alive. Also, this tour company went above and beyond in accommodating a last minute booking from me. They arranged everything within an hour of me making a same day booking after my former plans fell through and thanks to them I got to see much more than I planned with an exceptional tour guide. Highly recommend both this company and specific tour!

Great trip, Booked just the driver, received good information from driver went to saqqara had plenty of time to see the step pyramid and Serapeum tombs, followed by dashsur to see and go inside the red pyramid and the bent pyramid, finished off with a trip to Memphis my driver Yasser Salah was great, emo tours highly recommend for a trustworthy easy day. 😎

Confirmation was prompt...

Confirmation was prompt and the pickup was on time. I messaged the tour provider the day before, but they never responded. Upon arrival, the driver had to park at the end of the bridge because the Hilton didn't allow him to drive onto the hotel grounds. While he wasn't initially sure of the locations for two of the tombs, we found them after he asked for directions. Note to future travelers: Bring your own water, as none was provided. I also paid a total of 50 EGP for parking at Saqqara and Dahshur. Additionally, the driver asked for 10 EGP to tip the guard at Dahshur; I gave him 50 EGP and told him to keep the change for other tips. I only witnessed him tipping once, though he claimed at the end of the tour that he had distributed the full amount to various guards.

Great experience

Rasha was excellent. We would have been fairly lost going round the pyramids without a guide - it’s fairly chaotic - so very glad indeed we had her and the wonderful driver too. They respected our request for no shopping trips, and got us back to our hotel in good time for our evening flight. Thank you both, made the day smooth and enjoyable.
