We did the half-day...
We did the half-day Emerald Cove kayaking tour with Adventure Child and had a great experience. It was a hot day, but the water was refreshingly cold and made for the perfect outing.
Our guide, Gino, was outstanding. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable throughout the trip. He shared interesting information along the way and took photos for everyone, which was a nice touch.
What really stood out was how proactive and helpful he was on the water. He assisted a group whose canoe had overturned and filled with water, helping empty it and get them safely back on their way. He also helped another group whose paddleboard had blown away in the wind after they fell off and weren’t tethered. Without his quick response, they likely would have lost the board.
Gino’s professionalism, attentiveness, and focus on safety made the trip even better. Highly recommend Adventure Child and, if you’re lucky enough to get Gino as your guide, you’re in great hands!

Awesome experience - but physically demanding
This tour was exceptionally beautiful. We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Rich. He was very helpful with our kayaks, super friendly, and made sure everyone got the experience they wanted.
We had two tandem kayaks with two adults and two kids (ages 9 and 11). This is a physically demanding experience - 2.5 mile kayak each way to the canyon and 40
Min to 1.5 hr hike on very hot sand into the canyon. Or you can choose to stay where we docked the kayaks and swim if you don’t want to hike. The walk up and down the dock to the kayaks is also pretty steep after a long kayak trip. It’s 100% worth the effort if your crew likes physical challenge.

Great kayak tour on the Colorado River!!
Beautiful day on a stunning river with a very knowledgeable guide! Josh was our guide and did a fantastic job with this tour. He gave us a wealth of information about the river, the wildlife, vegetation and history of the area. Josh was also very conscious about
safety standards and took some great pictures for us!

Great times!
It was a great experience, it was my wife and step sons first time on a kayak, we got a little tutorial how to paddle, get in and off the kayak and how to avoid injuries in terms of rowing, the “cave” we actually passed by due to us thinking “that can’t be it” as we passed it due to it being so small, we went an additional mile still beautiful if you go further you will go come across an entire empty place where echos sound pretty awesome, I will say the only down side is that there were tons of mosquitos, bring repellant, and have proper form or your elbows will hurt, over all beautiful we saw 3 big horn sheep, you can’t swim by the shore where you take off with your kayak, so make sure to stop further up stream at some spots to jump into the water, definitely go again.

Don't second guess it - do it!
What a remarkable experience! I feel like our guide Kayelyn (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) found a way to connect with everyone throughout the entire excursion, while imparting knowledge of helpful history and local knowledge throughout. It was such a fun trip that I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to take this trip! Very well with it

Amazing trip with Eddie
Highly recommend - such a fab trip, like nothing I’d ever done before. Eddie was brilliant, he looked after us, bought drinks & snacks for us. Very knowledgable and a genuinely lovey guy. Took some stunning photos and videos for us too. A brilliant experience.

Colorado river kayaking
Jared was amazing. We were in a small group, never felt rushed, and he was very knowledgeable, making the trip interesting. Jared was really well prepared which made us feel confident in him - he had snacks and water, along with a first aid and epi-pens…great day - it was the one we enjoyed the most in our time in Las Vegas.

Highly recommend! Would do it again! Also, get the food, is delicious!
Went on the guided tour with Emmett (spelling?) as our guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and confident and gave us a sense of ease. The sights were gorgeous and the water was nice. Would highly recommend getting food after the kayaking trip because the food is great, and competitively and fairly priced. I think you should go with more people on a guided tour because honestly, the more the merrier but it wasn’t bad with the little group we had. Would definitely do it again!

Fun kayaking experience with more of a time crunch end goal. Still tons of fun
This was a very fun activity to get away from the concrete jungle while enjoying the heat! We went down for the 4 mile excursion.
The good: our guide, Jessica. Was very personable and had a wonderful, outgoing personality. She included everyone in the group in having fun. She stopped and helped us take pictures of each other and even took pictures of us on her phone that she sent to everyone the next day! Jessica gave us historical facts about the area.
The bad: it felt very rushed. Was not a leisurely kayaking experience. It was a get over here in 3 minutes, across the river in 6...I had never been kayaking before and found this much more trying that I thought it'd be. We weren't able to look around at the sights because of the go, go of the tour. On the way back, my boyfriend and I fell back behind the group and enjoyed paddling at our speed looking at the goats, eagles, and all the other sights we didn't get to see on our way to the cove. The cove is very small and only allows approx 10 people in at a time. There was a 30-40 min wait time for our turn to take pictures in the <5 minutes.
Overall, I'd definitely do it again. Must do a tandem instead of a single. See if there's a different style group or rental that isnt so time goal oriented that would allow for more of a casual (vs feeling like a race...this was expressed by a few couples in the group) kayaking experience with a goal, ie the cave.

Venture Out Vegas team rocks!
We spent a most amazing day kayaking the Colorado and visiting the Emerald Cave with VENTURE OUT VEGAS. Blair, our guide, was funny, shared much of the history of the area with us, and quickly became a part of our family. He made sure our experience was safe, fun, and left us with many great memories. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Great experience!
Due to an inaccessible road, we were not able to take the trip we’d planned. However the company offered us an upgraded tour at no extra cost. Guides Ray and Soren did a fantastic job leading our kayaking tour. The wild donkeys were the added bonus! Thanks for a great trip!
