Fantastic tour
Fantastic tour through the Dutch countryside — windmills, canals, and picture-perfect villages all in one day. Our guide Younes made it even better: knowledgeable, and clearly loved sharing the local history. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Younes leading the way!

Anna N is very...
Anna N is very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter of Vincent Van Gogh, the artist and the man. She provided context for us to better understand his works of art and debunked many of the commonly held myths regarding his life, which was truly astonishing. Anna also ensured that every member of her tour group was taken care of as she procured enough folding chairs for those who needed to sit during the tour as the tour is quite long. Anna’s English is excellent as well. She spoke very clearly and passionately. To those who are on the “older” side, please take into consideration that the tour is 2.5 hours in duration. There is a reason that under “additional info,” the tour company states “travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level.” Even with the folding chairs, there is still a lot of walking (including up and down stairs as the elevators are often too crowded). It is an excellent tour though.

Our morning tour with...
Our morning tour with Winston could not have worked out better. At pick-up, we discussed the itinerary I’d researched (Zaanse Schans, then Broek in Waterland, followed by a drive-through of downtown Amsterdam) ending with drop-off at Schiphol for our return flight. He recommended we instead start in downtown, expecting to encounter many fewer bicycles and cars on a Sunday morning. It quickly became apparent that our visit there would have been significantly less enjoyable had we been fighting traffic along the way. Winston also suggested we make a short detour to Volendam which hadn’t surfaced in my research. We were so impressed with the area that we decided to include a stayover there during next year’s Amsterdam visit. Great job, Winston!!

We had a wonderful private countryside tour with Philip and thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was a perfect way to experience the beautiful Dutch countryside, charming villages, and local traditions outside Amsterdam.
Philip was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend the day with. He shared interesting insights about Dutch history and culture, answered all of our questions, and made the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. We especially appreciated that we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop.
The tour was a great mix of sightseeing, local experiences, and time to simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. One of the highlights of our trip to the Netherlands. Highly recommended!

Viator is the best!
We purchased our Van Gogh Museum tickets through Trigger Tours via Viator after tickets were unavailable directly from the museum. I accidentally selected the wrong date and emailed Trigger Tours. Within 24 hours, they corrected our order—even with a 7-hour time difference! Very organized, responsive, and professional. Excellent customer service!

Great Tour—Exactly What We Hoped For!
We reserved this tour last minute and had a wonderful experience. Alfonso and Christiano were super friendly, showed us all the major sites, and were exceptionally flexible. We arrived a little late and they waited patiently, allows us a quick stop for food, and took us the Anne Frank house even though it wasn’t part of the tour. Lots of stops for pictures and great explanations. It was a great way to get an overall experience of Amsterdam! Highly recommend.

Andrea did a wonderful job of showing us the sights and food of Amsterdam. She explained the history and culture of the Red Light District and the area surrounding it. She introduced us to food we wouldn't have known to try. She was very informative and fun to be with.

Highly recommend - best way to see Amsterdam
There is nothing better than taking a canal tour with a true local with a deep understanding of the history and culture of Amsterdam. The boat was extremely comfortable and electric so no motor noise!! Highly recommend - and would repeat since each time you'd see new parts of this amazing city.

Great tour with a local guide
Love that the tour started from my hotel.
Anna was an outstanding guide. She asked questions to determine what my interests were and to identify any landmarks that I had already visited. The tour felt very personalized and catered to my interests. She answered questions about culture and quality of life in Amsterdam.
She took me to see places that locals visit and appreciate. She filled two hours visiting interesting landmarks not even mentioned during my other tours of the city. Impressed by the interesting anecdotes and extensive knowledge of the city.

Highly recommend
Paola was a wonderful guide, hitting the highlights and some hidden gems on a pretty busy day. She was deeply knowledgeable and her obvious love of art and history were apparent. She gets top marks though because my 85-year-old mother is hard of hearing and wears hearing devices that prevent her from using the headsets the rest of us used. Paola conscientiously kept her close and made extra effort to speak so she could hear. My mom often gets frustrated and gives up in crowded, noisy situations but she had a delightful time and was so happy thanks to Paola

An excellent tour of two of Amsterdam’s great museums!
Our tour with Anna N was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and shared her awareness on how to interpret the artwork of various era’s in the Rijksmuseum and then gain some insight as to the brilliance of Van Gogh’s ability to paint distance perspective on canvas, along with the interesting journey his life took. Our time at the Rijksmuseum was about 3 hours and then about 2.5 hours at the Van Gogh museum with about a 30 minute break in between to grab a quick lunch. It was a long day and if we were to see these two museums again, we would do each on separate days. But definitely ask to be on Anna N’s tour!

Unique Canal Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had the best time with Skipper Paap! He showed us way more than we expected and took the time to capture several photos of us. I’ve taken a few canal tours and this one was far more exciting and enjoyable than the others. Highly recommend this private 90-min tour!
