This was an enjoyable walking tour around the older parts of Amsterdam. Sebastian, our guide, was very personable and easy to understand. He told us he grew up and lives in Amsterdam and it showed in his enthusiasm for and love of the city he calls home. He was very knowledgeable of its history, its various communities, and was able to answer questions that we asked. We saw a variety of significant buildings, learn about why the canals existed, Amsterdam's historical contributions to economic growth in the region and many other things that are unique to the city and the Netherlands.

Alexander was brilliant - very knowledgeable about his home town and its fascinating history. We both learned a lot about Amsterdam that we wouldnt otherwise have known, and got to see places we wouldnt have thought to visit along the way.

Our tour guide, Dan, is very knowledgeable. He is also a native Dutchman who graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in history. We enjoyed our tour very much and suggest that a tour be taken on the first day of your visit.

Very interesting tour with a wide variety of historical, social and cultural topics covered. The guide,Noé, was great. An easy pace but lots of ground covered. Tour lasted about 2.5 hours. Would recommend, especially as a good introduction to Amsterdam
