The operator spoke very good English and as we drove to get to places, she explained things to us and answered all our questions which were many. I was a little dizzy, so instead of driving thru winding roads, she drove thru straight roads. I was able to
enjoy the tour horoughly.

Pickup is available from all hotels and Airbnbs in Santorini.
If your hotel or Airbnb is not accessible by car due to pedestrian-only areas or other restrictions, pickup will take place at a nearby main road location, within a short walking distance.
This is standard practice for all tours and excursions in Santorini, as many hotels and Airbnbs are not directly accessible by car due to pedestrian zones and steps.
2. Cruise Passengers Pickup
Santorini is a tender-only port.
You will be tendered ashore to either:
Athinios Port (road-accessible), or Fira Town Port / Old Port (not accessible by car, serviced only by cable car).
If you are tendered to Athinios Port, we will pick you up directly from the Athinios Port (road access available).
If you are tendered to Fira Town Port instead, pickup will be from the Santorini McDonald’s near the top of the cable car, please note that in order to reach Santorini McDonalds you must take the cable car from the Old Port (3 minutes ride, bottom to top).
Cable Car Tickets: €10 per person, per ride (extra cost, paid directly at the cable car counter; tickets cannot be pre-purchased, cost is not included in tour cost - must be covered on your own).
The tour operator has no control whether you are finally tendered to Fira Town Port or Athinios Port; this decision is made solely by cruise line/ship.
3. Travelers Arriving by Ferry (not Cruise Ship)
Complimentary (free of charge) pickup is provided from the Santorini (Athinios) Port.
4. Travelers Arriving by Plane / Helicopter / Commercial Flight
This tour provides complimentary (free of charge) pickup from Santorini Airport as well as all heliports and helipads in Santorini.

Itinerary
Meet your private driver-guide at your Santorini hotel or Santorini cruise port, hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, and set off on your custom tour of the island. Your tour includes all transport, with all meals and entrance fees at your own expense.
Before you head anywhere, chat to your friendly guide about the sights you want to see and visit during your tour. As your tour is private, the itinerary is completely flexible and can be customized to match your interests and preferences.
Perhaps start with a visit to one of Santorini’s must-sees: the timeworn excavated ruins at Akrotiri. Here, stroll around the remnants of the Minoan Bronze Age settlement that was buried, and preserved by, volcanic ash as a result of a major eruption in the second millennium BC.
You may also want to relax on one of Santorini’s black sand beaches or delve into its picture-postcard villages, such as Pyrgos and Oia—the latter known for its spectacular sunsets. Then, maybe finish with a visit to a traditional winery to taste or purchase (own expense) some of Santorini’s fresh and distinctive wines. The island's winemaking history stretches back more than 4,000 years, and its varietals are renowned for their crispness and high acidity.

Local private tour of Santorini

We had a local private driver for my sister and I for almost the same price as a large cruise tour. He took us to all the scenic sites and a lot of local only areas that were charming. The highlight was eating at a local restaurant on the beach. We were able to pick our fresh fish and they grilled it and deboned it. We also had a sampling of local Greek food and wine. It was absolutely amazing. This is the way to see Santorini! We took the bus up from the port and it was easy to find our amazing tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the island and culture. We highly recommend this tour!

Elena & Panos were great!
We chose a 6 hour tour around the island, and it was just barely enough time! We loved seeing everything that Santorini had to offer, and stopping for a quick bite or shopping excursion along the way.
The Argyros winery and donkey brewery were a highlight. The winery was beautiful and the charcuterie provided with the tasting was superb. Chris our host there was amazing as well, and we bought some wine to bring back to the states. The folks at the donkey brewery were so helpful and generous.
Can not recommend enough and definitely add as many hours as you can to this tour. It's wonderful to experience the island with folks that are familiar and can share it's history.

We had a great tour with Kostis. We were able to customize our tour so that we could see and do the things we wanted to. He was very sociable and accommodating and shared his love of wine with us. He was very friendly and respectable and we felt as though we had known him for a long time even though we had just met. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and allowed us some free time to shop and take our photos. He was great!! I highly recommend this tour with Kostis! We had been to Santorini on two prior occasions but this time we were traveling with my sister so we saw and did as much as possible so she could experience the best of Santorini. 👍👍

Elena was an amazing driver/guide. Very informative, great energy and really easy to talk to. A lot to see in Santorini! I booked 5 hours and there was still a few things we didn't have time to see.
I'd recommend at least 5 hours. Also book the tour in the early morning (before 9am) to avoid the crowds.

Our tour guide was very good and very funny. We had a short period on shore from our cruise and could have used more time in Oia and Fira. No the fault of the tour company. Allow at least an hour and a half for the cable car down. This was October, we thought it would be less.

Pretty sure we saw Santorini from north to south, east to west and top to bottom. Our guide took us everywhere!! We saw the famous village of Oia, the shorelines, the black beach, the highest peak with an incredible view, & the very unique vineyards. We wrapped up the tour with a tasting at a beautiful winery overlooking the sea! He provided enough information but also gave us some space and time to enjoy a few moments on our own. We are so thankful we were able to snag this tour at the very last minute after our cruise line tours all cancelled. Great day and lots of cool memories!!

Theo was the absolute best tour guide today! They were also very communicative during the process of us arriving, getting on the tender and riding the cable cars up. We got to see so many different areas of the island including the blue dome buildings, black sand beaches, a 360 view from up top, a wine tasting and so much more!!
