What a way to spend the day!

An AMAZING experience. We started with the King's temple, then took a 500 steps staircase to a beautiful view of the valley with a dragon at the top, took a boat ride on the river that looks like a movie, had a delicious lunch, and then took a bike ride to a Buddhist temple on the side of a mountain (it even has caves with bats living inside). Simply put, a great day.

We went on a four hour...

We went on a four hour tour of Hanoi with Bee and we had a great time! She showed up on time at our hotel with one other couple so the group was small enough to feel like a private tour. Bee pointed out all the major sightseeing spots as we drove by them. We also stopped at back alleys and ordinary communities as she gave good history and neighborhood descriptions. We went to Ga Long Bien Bridge and Station and the Train Street with perfect timing so that we saw the trains passing without much wait, and the jeep was waiting for us right when we were done. One drink at the Train Street and food/coffee tasting at a back alley restaurant were included, and they all tasted great. Bee was very personable and gave honest responses for all our questions. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this tour!

The staff were professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, making the arrival process smooth and stress-free. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the willingness to accommodate our needs. This service was well organized, convenient, and absolutely worth the cost. Had a great experience. There was 3 of us, Luca was our guide. It’s a very long tour so just be aware that you are gone the entire day. Luca does well to keep you informed and give you some history on Vietnam which I love. Only thing is that on breakfast or dinner lol and ur gone from 7am to 9pm and no option to purchase dinner either. Other than that we had a great time

An Unexpected Pleasure

The best thing about this tour is the fact that it can be adjusted on the fly based on time, traffic and anything else that can and will crop up. Like our ship being delayed over an hour by immigrations. We already altered the tour by a bit before it even started because our time in port was not as long as first expected. Then this. Communication between us and Brian was above and beyond. He sent pictures of exactly where he would be waiting and we let him know once we were able to get off the ship. To be honest, when I booked this, I had no idea I had booked a PRIVATE, as in just the two of us, tour. We had a driver who knew his stuff and we got to see a lot of what we originally planned. Just experiencing life on the city streets was as good as the tour itself. He took us to a hole in the wall noodle house that I may have passed up, had I been alone. The lunch was fantastic. The atmosphere was as local as it gets. I think we were the only "tourists" there, LOL. As I was walking out, I saw the wall with the 4x Michelin Guide awards 2023 to 2026. WOW! I can't really say anything specific about what we saw because your tour might be different from ours. This I will say. I am grateful beyond words that Tran Haung Phuc (Brian) was our guide. I found out later that we had so much of an advantage over the organised bus tours, talking with some of our ship mates. You won't be disappointed. If you have the full 10 hours to do this tour, you'll be trying to find things to see, LOL. We had about 5 and made it work.

Tu was a great guide. We also had a private driver that he brought along and it made pickup/drop off from our hotel and later attractions very easy. A unique and enjoyable experience

Great way to get to all the tourist stops. The jeep is an authentic army jeep with enough room for the guide, the driver, and 2 passengers. Being in an open vehicle in the bustling traffic of Ho Chi Minh City is an experience in itself. Our driver Joe, and guide Mimi were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They even had a cooler of cold drinks which was wonderful to have in the tropical heat. A lot of fun.

A great way to taste the local food and see how they live, everything was fresh and delicious. Going by scooter was loads of fun allowing you to appreciate how many travel around each day. Great to have English speaking guides who were willing to answer any questions.

Wonderful time

We did this boat trip as a family with 2 children (9 y and 12 y) and had a wonderful time. We were a small group of only 11 people on the boat with our great tour guide Tony. The kayaking tours were definitely our highlights. Also the (optional) transfer from Hanoi was organized very well.

Pretty damn fabulous! Cool older boat, well updated and spiffy everywhere! The trip itself was amazing with day 2 being the highlight not many people book the three day so day two only has a few guests, in our case four! We had a private guide and kayak trip to the cave with no other boats anywhere. Exceptional day! The crew onboard were excellent!!

Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome upon boarding and everything was clearly laid out for us. All the meals were delicious as was the optional activities. We made a few friends on the ship and participated in some of the traditional dancing. The rooms are quite large for being on a boat and we really enjoyed the view of the water from our balcony.
