Fun and well organised tour

We had David as a tour guide. He was entertaining and knowledgable throughout the tour. David always made sure there was plenty of time for photos. Unfortunately our Jeep broke down but a replacement taxi was organised promptly and a second Jeep was sent our way. Overall I felt the tour was very comprehensive and covered many attractions in Hanoi.

I had an excellent experience today visiting Ninh Binh. The transfer was very comfortable, the group was small, and everything was perfectly organized from A to Z. Our guide, Phong, was fantastic — very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He shared lots of interesting information about Vietnamese history, culture, and daily life, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful and well-organized trip. Pretty damn fabulous! Cool older boat, well updated and spiffy everywhere! The trip itself was amazing with day 2 being the highlight not many people book the three day so day two only has a few guests, in our case four! We had a private guide and kayak trip to the cave with no other boats anywhere. Exceptional day! The crew onboard were excellent!!

A great day out

Had an absolutely great day out with Linh today. Beautiful scenery, good activities and food all with a very knowledgeable and funny guide. Dragon Hill was a tough climb, especially at the end of the day, but well worth it for the view. And the boat ride was a personal highlight.

What a fantastic day out! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The scenery was beautiful and so lovely to enjoy from different view points - the climb to the top of the stairs was exhausting, but so worth it; the bike ride so much fun and the boat ride the perfect way to end the day! Lunch was so delicious, some come with an empty tummy! Lastly, our guide T.A. was an absolute legend! Such a great sense of humour, so knowledgeable, brilliant English and just a lot of fun! Cannot recommend this trip enough. Definitely looking forward to our next adventure!

Cat Ba Ventures is a fantastic local tour operator. Going with them was a great choice, not only does it support local business, but their local expertise means they know exactly where to go and when. The tour was seamlessly organized, the rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. Fun and informative

Our guide, Hoa, whizzed us around different spots in the city for a full 4 hours. He shared funny anecdotes and also harrowing details about the Vietnam war. This trip was a great introduction to the city for our first visit. I would highly recommend it. Oh, and the beer was a bonus too.

Someone met me with my name on a sign as I was walking towards immigrationion. He steered me towards the far entry gate and I walked right up to the Officer. I showed him my passport & visa, got the stamp of approval and passed thru... It probably would have taken an hour to have taken the regular line as lots of other planes seemed to arrive at the same time. And It was after 10pm. Fortunately I just had carry on luggage. Though the pick-up guy would have assisted with that step as well. We then proceeded to the taxi office where another guy took over and got ahold of my ride.... after being completely worn out by having just flown nearly 24 hours between air time and layovers it was nice to have this last leg of the trip be quiet seamless. The taxi driver spoke pretty good English too. If you are in a rush or just want to get to a shower and in bed at your hotel this was a good purchase.

Wonderful experience

This was a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome upon boarding and everything was clearly laid out for us. All the meals were delicious as was the optional activities. We made a few friends on the ship and participated in some of the traditional dancing. The rooms are quite large for being on a boat and we really enjoyed the view of the water from our balcony.

Emmie was a great guide!

Emmie was the best guide ever! She was so enthusiastic and spent the day with us on an organized and thoughtful tour. Emmie took us to a fabulous vegetarian lunch as requested. She packed in a full day tour with efficiency. Emmie’s English was amazing too! She took photos of us throughout the day which we really appreciated. Our driver was also always on time and helpful.

Definitely worth it!

What a great excursion! We had a great tour guide for Ninh Binh. Our accommodations that evening were very nice. The cruise ship and accommodations were spectacular. Just wish we could have fit in an extra night! Food was great and the service was exceptional. They helped us book a ride directly to the airport and their communication was top notch. Highly recommend
