What are people saying about Reims

The perfect way to discover the real Champagne
We had a fantastic tour with Nicolas and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Champagne.
Nicolas was a brilliant guide — personable, relaxed and incredibly knowledgeable. Having worked in the vineyards himself, he was able to bring the whole process of growing the grapes and producing Champagne to life with genuine first-hand insight.
Travelling in the beautifully restored Ford GPW made the experience even more special. Restored by Nicolas’ father, the vehicle has its own fascinating connection to the region and its post-war history, which added another layer to Nicolas’ storytelling.
One of the real highlights was being able to leave the main roads behind and travel along quiet vineyard tracks to some beautiful viewpoints. At times it genuinely felt as though we had the vineyards entirely to ourselves.
The Champagne Nicolas provided for us to taste was also delicious and, importantly, had been deliberately chosen from a local producer rather than simply reaching for one of the famous big labels. One of the great pleasures of our time in Champagne was discovering the smaller, family-run houses which are so fundamental to the character, traditions and continued story of the region, and it was great that Nicolas shared that philosophy.
More than anything, Nicolas was simply a pleasure to spend time with. The whole tour felt personal and unhurried rather than overly organised or touristy, and we came away with a much better understanding and appreciation of Champagne, its vineyards and the people behind it.
A genuinely memorable experience and one of the highlights of our time in Champagne.

This tour was a HIGHLIGHT...
This tour was a HIGHLIGHT of our 3 week stay in France. Our tour guide, Ana, was THEE best! She is very kind and knowledgeable in her craft. She was able to answer all of our questions, even the very specific ones.
The people we met at the wine houses were also very kind and welcomed us all in with eyes wide open.
You don’t realize how much history is truly in the vineyards until you have someone break it down.
I will definitely be back again 🫶🏾

An ideal Champagne experience
Our tour consisted of 7 guests plus our guide+driver, Radames. Our van was modern and clean.
We were amazed at Radames' knowledge. He explained the geology of Champage, the history of the drink, and details about each place we visited.
Those places were a combination of Champagne houses, famous buildings, and historic villages. Radames organized three Champagne house visits, including cellar tours. We went from a small, to a medium, to a medium-large producer to get a feel at each size. He had commentary at all places. He's apparently quite trusted -- he sometimes let us in and performed the tastings.
Lunch was provided at a small cafe, and was quite good.
Radames gave clear and detailed descriptions, since his is from the USA.
Overall, well-organized and impeccably conducted. Definitely a tour and guide I would recommend.

First class experience for birthday celebration!
Did this as a day trip from Paris for my 40th birthday and we had a fantastic time with our driver/guide, Lucas! So knowledgeable and personable! He picked us up right on time from the train station and we had the best day visiting the Veuve Clicquot and Moët champagne houses as well as Notre Dame de Reims. Had a beautiful lunch, too. Cannot recommend this experience enough!! First class all the way around!

Unforgettable memories
The experience was outstanding. The extensive range of prestigious Champagne houses, particularly the Veuve Clicquot tour, was exceptional. Thomas demonstrated extensive knowledge and expertise as our tour guide throughout the day. The lunch with paired champagnes was an unforgettable experience.

Excellent Tour of Champagne!
Alvaro was very kind and knowledgeable. It was great.
Two minor negatives: 1) we could have spent a little less time at lunch and at the second winery; and 2) the information provided did not give a clear departure time for those of us taking the train back to Paris.

Get the in-depth experience
Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. She knew many interesting stories to tell about the stained glass windows and statutes, and pointing out the 'jokes' builders incorporated in the Cathedral. It's such a beautiful church/cathedral with an even more interesting history, a tour is well recommended.

Tomas, our tour guide,...
Tomas, our tour guide, was professional and very knowledgeable. Tomas answered all our questions as he informed us about the champagne region. I enjoyed seeing the operations of a large house such as Mumm and then the operations/cellars of Collard-Milesi and the Picalt-Thiout. Lunch was delicious.

It is an incredible value...
It is an incredible value for the tour. You get to enjoy very good champagne and a solid lunch. Our guide, Thomas, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk with for anything from champagne, to regional history, to recommending other activities in the area.

Fun day in Champagne
Luis was our guide. We were the first tour of the season so ended up getting a private experience. He was a very good guide, communicated in advance, answered all questions and was friendly. We went to one small, local family owned champagne house and a larger one. Seeing the difference between the two was wonderful experience.
Only thing to note is if book this tour it wasn't 100% clear the the tour picks you up in Reims but ends in Epernay. Luckily trains at cheap and every hour between the cities, but that did come as a bit of a surprise when we found this out halfway through the tour.

Morning Small Champagne House Tour
Easy meeting point to start tour and Guide was friendly and authentic knowledge based on working in the industry. The 2 small family producer visits were each unique and interesting. Appreciate the comparative experience we would not have found on our own easily. The tasting and education portions were well-timed offering the right amount of time to enjoy the caves and sip champagne. Having the opportunity to meet the house owners was a nice part of the tour. And who doesn’t love champagne for breakfast?!

In the heart of France’s Champagne region, Reims is a wine lover’s dream destination. It’s the perfect base for visiting multiple champagne houses, where you'll learn what it takes to make the famous bubbly and sip samples along the way. There are Reims tours of renowned labels like Veuve Clicquot and small family-run farms. You can also explore Reims on foot to see its 13th-century cathedral and Roman triumphal arch or head out of town to see the World War I battlefield at Verdun.
