Incredible tour

The tour was incredible! Ahmed was a very knowledgeable guide who is an expert in Egyptology. We asked lots of questions and had a friend in our group who knew about Archeology and he answered these with enthusiasm and ease. Many other tours miss Medinet Habbu and the Valley of the Artisans, which were really amazing and so worth doing. The range of sites on the tour made it really unique and we came away feeling we had really have a comprehensive understanding of the West Bank. Ahmed was very patients when we wanted to spend longer in certain places and the private tour environment meant he could be flexible.

If you are looking to ensure that your family and friends are in the absolute safest, most genuine, and most trustworthy hands, you must request Aly Swahili from your tour operator. From the very beginning of the day, Aly set a gold standard for what a guide should be. He texted us first thing in the morning to coordinate, arrived precisely on time, and immediately walked us through the entire day's itinerary so we knew exactly what to expect. Well organized and magnificent

The day before, we are notified of the pickup time at the hotel. They were punctual. Waiting on site, but seeing all these hot air balloons inflate is magnificent. They offer a paid photo/video package of the flight, which is very easy to decline. The flight is magical; it is gentle, calm, peaceful, and the view is superb. Then we landed quietly in a field; they put a lot of energy into folding up the fabric, and we head off again. A box is passed around for the men who handle the logistics; plan on a well-deserved tip. We took the 5:30 AM flight so as not to be disappointed by a possible missed sunrise, and we have no regrets. A great experience for us.

Lots of Learning

We had a great time with Peter, he planned our itinerary in a way that we were able to enjoy several of the sights without experiencing the excessive heat, and timed to avoid large crowds. This allowed us to take our time, walk around unbothered, and learn from him at a comfortable pace. He had a wealth of knowledge to share, was punctual, and attentive. We are already excited to go back!

Overall the cruise went very well with Khaled. The explanations are interesting, with anecdotes, details about the country's history. Moments of free time are also included, which is appreciated. We did not have to wait in line for tickets. We were able to pay the guide for all the tickets at the beginning of the cruise. We were a small group of 10 people, which allows for creating bonds and cohesion. Two points to know: a tip contribution of $30/p is mandatory and requested at the beginning of the cruise. In principle I understand that this is part of the country's customs, but it would have been better if it had been mentioned in the description. Finally, the lunch on the last day of the cruise is not included. That did not, however, stop us from having incredible moments!!

I recommend it.

We only had a driver's car, but they also taught us about the history and scenery along the way, and we had a very enjoyable half day. We were able to see the Valley of the Kings to our heart’s content, without any time limit, and were comfortable in an air-conditioned car! I was also able to communicate with them beforehand on whatsapp, which was great.
