Great trip
Our driver picked us up at 6am. It was about 2.5 hrs drive and he stopped along the way for coffee and snacks. It was overall a great drive. The tour was interesting and informative. I highly recommend taking this day trip if you want to experience Alexandria city in a short time.

Saqqara and Memphis Adventure!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hussam from GEM Explore Egypt tour company was an absolutely outstanding tour guide and made our day unforgettable. He took my sisters and me to Saqqara and Memphis, where we saw the incredible Step, Bent, and Red Pyramids, along with the Sphinx in Memphis. His knowledge was impressive—he explained everything in a way that was both informative and genuinely engaging—and his sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time.
What really stood out was how much he cared about our experience. Hussam made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of every stop. He also took amazing photos of us, capturing moments we’ll truly treasure for a lifetime.
We chose to visit these pyramids before seeing the Great Pyramid, and it was the perfect decision—far less crowded and much easier to explore, which made the experience even more special. He also brought us to a restaurant with beautiful views of the pyramids, and the lunch was delicious.
I also want to highlight our driver, who was extremely professional and a very safe, skilled driver. His car was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made traveling between sites smooth and relaxing.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, attentive, and fun guide—with a great team behind him—Hussam and GEM Explore Egypt are the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

Olivias wonderful mystery tour.
An excellent way to see the sites, especially of the Jewish quater, the tour guide Olivia was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us great insight into the local attractions, and of course empatheticlly conveyed the tragedy that befell our Jews.
Would highly recommend especially if you are older and less mobile.

Highly recommend
Visiting from UK. Really kind tour guide, explained everything clearly, highly recommend, and for a great price too. The pyramid complex is huge and quite confusing, so tour guide is neededm Dropped off at egyptian museum afterwards included in cost. Can't fault rawan (tour guide) and awad (driver)

Great tour experience
Today we had an amazing experience with this tour. Our tour guide, Max, was very knowledgeable and provided important historical information throughout the day. Before the tour he kept us informed of our pick up at the hotel. We were also dropped off at the hotel. The driver was friendly and kind to open the door for us every time. They made us feel special. Max was flexible with our desire to have local food and my wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch. The visits to the Pyramids and Grand Egyptian museum was amazing. Maxx had all ready and we had easy access, great information and made our day productive. We are so happy we booked this tour and highly recommend it

We had the best time...
We had the best time visiting the Pyramids with Hossam. He is so kind and patient, and his explanations of the sites were fascinating. He really went above and beyond, even acting as our personal photographer so we could just enjoy the view. Thank you, Hossam, for such a wonderful day!

AWESOME Tour of Pyramids, Sphinx, Camel ride, GEM Museum, shopping with Habeba!!!
BEST Wonder Woman Egyptologist ever! Picked up by Habeba and her driver in clean A/C sedan car. There’s so much to see, so Habeba brought us to all the highlights of the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and GEM Museum. Super-knowledgeable & conscientious guide, excellent English. Camel ride was good, we brought apples as treats from our hotel breakfast for our camels “Bob Marley” & “Casanova”. They seemed well cared for & healthy, something we were really concerned about, as it was part of the tour. (Please bring clean fresh apples/pears for the animals, our camel guide split the apple in half on the wooden saddle spike & fed it to the camel, no problem!) We had a light falafel sandwich/soda/water lunch on the go in the car so we could move efficiently through our schedule. If you want to sit down somewhere that’s up to you. Got to see Papyrus making & Perfumed Oil sampling, no pressure to buy. What an amazing day with an amazing Egyptologist! Great driver! I suggest you bring an umbrella for the sun & an electric fan (rechargeable) with its cable & a charging pack, let it recharge in your mini-backpack while you’re in the shade or the museum. Sunglasses, baseball cap, light 3/4 sleeve shirt & capri pants. Closed toe Keen hiking style sandals or athletic sneakers, because you will be walking on sandy uneven terrain where you will encounter horse/camel droppings around. Also bring a cellphone clear neck pouch so you can start your video, hang it around your neck & be hands-free, as you will need your hands to hold onto the saddle, as you’ll rock & sway in every direction when the camel walks, I imagine many people drop their phones, so get that phone pouch, set it & forget it so you can enjoy the ride, the camel guide will stop & take pix of you at different spots. Highly recommended! Thank you shukran jazeelan, Habeba, for making our first time in Egypt excellent & memorable! 🙏 We’ll be back! ❤️👍

Perfectly Paced Family Tour
We had a great day at the Giza pyramids with Saleh and our driver Øsāmã. Both men reached out to us on WhatsApp the night before you confirm details and then Os showed up right on time the next morning. The car was clean, comfortable, and stocked with cold water.
Saleh gave us a great intro in the car and then visitor center. His knowledge of the history and 25 years if experience was obvious. He also gave us advice of how to avoid the high pressure vendors and what was appropriate to tip for the camel ride.
After the camels, he showed us around the pyramids with more history. He even pointed out the best photo spots and took pictures for our whole family. He was patient with my slow moving and rambunctious kids and said he has 3 of his own.
After we went into the Great Pyramid, Os picked us up and we made a stop for a quick shopping point because it was too early for lunch. The shopping wasn't really our thing, but the toilets were clean and there was no pressure when we said we weren't interested in buying anything.
Lastly, we finished at a nice buffet lunch and then the ride back home. The whole day was easy and well paced, which was important to us with a 5 year old and 8 year old. I would gladly recommend this tour and Saleh and Øsāmã to friends and family. Thank you for a nice trip!

The tour of the Coptic...
The tour of the Coptic neighborhood and Old Town was one of the most interesting parts of our visit to Cairo. Our guide Bisho was very knowledgeable and shared many stories about the history and culture of the area, which made the experience much more meaningful.
Walking through the old streets and visiting the historic churches was truly special. The guide Bisho was friendly, patient, and made the tour feel very personal. We really enjoyed it.

A Mediterranean Gem - Alexandria!
Our full-day tour of Alexandria was spectacular from start to finish. We began at the beautiful Montaza Palace Grounds, which offered a peaceful, breezy start to the day. From there, we visited the stunning Bibliotheca Alexandrina—a modern architectural marvel that is a must-see.
Our guide, Mohammed Salama, was incredible throughout the day. He provided so much context at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and during our visits to St. Mark’s Coptic Church and the local Mosque. We ended with the perfect photo op: a breathtaking view toward the Citadel of Qaitbay over the Mediterranean. Mohammed’s storytelling made the history feel alive, and his pacing was perfect. If you’re headed to Alexandria, ask for Mohammed Salam’s!

An unforgetabble day in Fayoum
This experience is relaxed, personal, and driven by Ahmed’s bright, engaging personality. From the start, his energy sets the tone for the entire day. He is warm, upbeat, and genuine, which makes the experience feel less like a tour and more like an adventure shared with a friend.
The day is not rushed or overly structured. Ahmed encourages curiosity, conversation, and laughter, creating an easy, joyful atmosphere while still sharing meaningful context about Fayoum, the desert, and the whale fossils. The drive from Cairo becomes part of the experience, filled with good energy and connection.
Visiting the whale fossils was fascinating. Lunch at a Bedouin rest area in the desert is a true highlight, offering a peaceful break in a beautiful setting.
Travelers should know that much of what makes this experience special is Ahmed himself. His positivity, sense of humor, and genuine hospitality leave you feeling energized and cared for throughout the day. If you value a guide with a vibrant spirit who creates a memorable, personable experience, this tour is an excellent choice.
