We recently attended a wonderful scone-making class with Olivia, and it was such a delightful experience from start to finish. Olivia was a fantastic instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about baking. She walked us through each step of the process, sharing helpful tips that made it easy to create light, buttery, perfectly baked scones. As if the scones weren’t enough, we also enjoyed the cucumber sandwiches that we created that added a lovely touch to the afternoon. It truly felt like a proper tea experience. What made the class even more special was the warm, relaxed atmosphere. Between mixing dough and enjoying the treats, the group fell into delightful conversations about the weather, schooling, and even future travel plans. It felt less like a class and more like a gathering of friends who simply happened to be learning how to bake together. I left with delicious scones, new baking skills, and a very pleasant afternoon to remember. Highly recommend Olivia’s class to anyone who enjoys good food, great company, and learning something new.

Our guide, Connor, was not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also warm, kind, and genuinely hilarious. He was also wonderfully quick-thinking: while we were viewing a sculpture of the late Queen Mother, he suddenly spotted a police brigade and whisked us over just in time to see Queen Camilla, resplendent in a wide hat, being driven from Clarence House to Buckingham Palace. I’ve visited London many times, but my tour with Connor will always stand out as one of the most memorable.

A day in the English countryside

If you want to get out of London for a day and see parts of old England all day tour is perfect. Pablo was our tour guide a.ong the way and he was excellent. Oxford University has some of the oldest buildings in Europe. If you are a Harry Potter fan, it offers glimpses into the rooms and areas where the movies were filmed. startfor on Avon is a small village and has great shopping and food. We had to have the famous Pasties for lunch which were delicious. Warwick castle has lots of great historical items to see and you get a chance to walk thru the rooms which a lot of castles don’t offer.
