Wonderfull trip around Ponta Delgada
This tour was amazing, all the sight we visited were worth going to. Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. She explained a lot about the surroundings and the place we went to. My favourite places was the furnas and the tea plantation. Definitly can recommend this tour.

East of São Miguel island day tour with Pure Azores
Excellent full day tour with Clara of Pure Azores. The weather wasn’t the best, but we still got to see most of the viewpoints. Furnas was a great experience, both for the sampling of different flavoured liqueurs, tasting various different waters coming out of numerous springs, and the fantastic traditional Cozido lunch at Tony’s restaurant - one of the best meals we had during our stay in the Azores.

Great one-day tour of São Miguel!
A great one-day tour of São Miguel, Açores. Fun, informative visit to Gorreana Tea Factory, and the volcanic Lagoa das Furnas and the town of Furnas with its many sulfur vents were beautiful and fascinating. A great local lunch included, followed by a visit to the beautiful Terra Nostra botanical garden and soaking hot springs. Guide Jen was friendly and very informative. We had a great time!

Another great day out!...
Another great day out! Had Marcio again as my guide and he was again brilliant. Brought us around Furnas and Nordeste, introduced us to many local sights and foods, and we even said hi to his grandma along the way.

A Winner of a Tour For Thermal Baths Fans
What a fantastic evening on this tour! The small group allowed for everyone to get to know each other a bit which is something I love when traveling. Eduardo was knowledgeable, informative, and a lot of fun! The dinner at Tony’s was absolutely delicious and the baths in Furnas were such a unique experience to have at night. Definitely got to have an experience we wouldn’t have otherwise had on our own. Don’t miss out on this one!

Great tour
The hot springs at night were beautiful. They have 4 pools for you to visit and each are a little bit different. We would definitely go again if we came back.

Furnas day trip is a must see!
Wonderful! The drive from Ponta Delgado takes you North and then to Furnas and loops South after so you really get to see the dramatic scenery. Furnas is a must see! Lots of stops. Bring towel, flip flops, swimsuit to enjoy the thermal bath in Furnas. Guide Miguel was great and so were the other group travelers!

We have a very friendly driver/tour guide.
The hotspring in Furnaz was nice but need more restroom or changing room. Being in the tour, we have to hurry up to change clothes.

Best tour at night
Wonderful relaxing night with tasty dinner, drinking the mineral rich water freely flowing in the city, and of course the highlight soaking in the relaxing thermal pools at Dona Beija. 4 pools all heated to 39 C. Our guide Henri was awesome!

Joao was a fantastic...
Joao was a fantastic guide and driver. The tour was wonderful with tons of stops. Lunch was solid and very filling. We had some cloudy weather but that's not the tour's fault. Will travel with them again.

When to visit

- Admission fees vary for each hot spring complex. If you’re on a budget, Poca da Dona Beija is the best choice.
- There are several guesthouses, hotels, and restaurants in Furnas. Due to the town’s small size, advance booking during peak season is essential.
- The cobblestone streets and uneven terrain in Furnas may make certain sites difficult to access on your own with a wheelchair or stroller; however, some guided tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
