All Albania Tours & Excursions in 2026

An excellent experience. The departure was at 9:00 in the morning, the first stop was 30 minutes at the lake, then we stopped for about 2 hours at the castle of Berat where those who wanted to could enter the museum (€4, paid separately) while the others took the opportunity to walk around the surrounding narrow streets, and finally in Berat, where we had 3 hours to have lunch and see the area. The return departure was at 16:00 and we arrived in Tirana by 18:00. Klajdi, our guide, was very kind and welcoming right from the start, capable of making the trip pleasant and not at all boring or tedious.

Our tour of Prizren and Prishtina was absolutely fantastic, and Armela was an exceptional guide! The pickup was smooth and well organised, with all the necessary details communicated to us the evening before. Armela was incredibly knowledgeable about both cities, their history, culture and politics. She created a WhatsApp group for everyone, sharing recommendations on exactly what to see and do during our free time, along with coordinates for each landmark, which made exploring so much easier. Throughout the day, she was informative, engaging and happy to answer all our questions. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the political, cultural and economic discussions we had as a group. These conversations made the experience even more interesting and gave us a much deeper understanding of Kosovo and Albania. What could have been just another sightseeing trip turned into one of the best tours we’ve had! Armela’s knowledge, enthusiasm and approach really made the difference. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy history, politics and meaningful discussions beyond the usual sightseeing!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Day Trip with an Excellent Guide! Our day trip, Hiking to Gamti, Bovilla Lake and Kruja from Tirana, was absolutely perfect! Our tour guide, Gjenc, was wonderful. He is such a gentleman, very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing valuable information about Albania and the places we visited. Gjenc made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his kindness and attentiveness. He even offered to take photos of us, making sure we could capture some beautiful memories of the day. It was truly a fantastic experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If I were to do this day trip again (or another day trip), I would be more than happy to have Gjenc as my tour guide once more! I had a lovely time seeing the shrine, old bazaar and Kruja Castle. The bus is really comfortable and the guide was amazing with her knowledge and keeping us to time whilst having enough time to explore the different areas of the visit. Highly recommend as the distance wasn't that far from Tirana !

Our guide Xhuljano was very friendly and helpful. There was a very good balance between parts of the tour where we’re guided on a particular route vs free time when you can roam about. The tour gives visitors the perfect opportunity to visit both Prishtina and Prizrzen as well as ticking off a box of visiting a new country. I would highly recommend this tour.

Nolan was a great tour guide, and the tour was fantastic. The bus was comfortable for the 2 1/2 hour ride. Pickup and getting across the border were seamless. Ohrid is a beautiful town and fun to explore and experience another country while vacationing in Tirana.

This was really fun! And if you're lucky enough to have a very small group like the 4 of us (including Merkel are guide) you get to easily ask questions and Merkel was a delight. Always open to answering questions and talking about topics from Albania's complicated political history to Tirana's architecture ... in addition to the food on this food tour. It was a good "city walking tour" with an extra layer of exploring Albanian cuisine on top of it.

Dervis has prepared a very well executed menu of traditional Albanian dishes, all very delicious. The space is small but just right for a class of 12. His English is perfect, he’s fun to talk with and he shares lots of Albanian food history along with the lesson. Highly recommended!
