Fantastic experience. Wouldn’t have really appreciated the Pantheon without it. Mary Lou was a wonderful guide! Meet up before the tour went smoothly. No complaints at all.
The Pantheon is a must see in Rome. Our tour guide Elena was very knowledgeable and able to provide a great overview of history surrounding the Pantheon. Such an amazing and beautiful building.

Definitely was worth doing tour. Guide was super knowledgeable and engaging and told us about the architecture history as well as all the art inside. Interesting.

An engineering marvel over 2000 years old! This once pagan temple was the political center at one time. Our guide made this period come alive for me.
Tour guide was knowledgeable but he said he was an ecologist. So we mostly learned about architecture in Rome and not so much on the Pantheon. I would have preferred he walk around the Pantheon inside to discuss what’s in there
Our tour guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything and answering questions. Would highly recommend. Very crowded due to it being 1st Sunday of the month and apparently free, so lines very long.
This tour gives you the history of the Pantheon both structure and function. Silvio is a fabulous guide and is knowledgeable in both areas. He is very passionate about the subject and kept the groups attention with information and anecdotes throughout the tour. Excellent tour and guide!

It’s way too busy, the communication via the ear piece isn’t great, you get no time to linger to look at the art, it’s all too rushed!

The Pantheon can sometimes be crowded, and our guides do their best to balance the historical explanation with the time available inside the monument. That said, we understand your wish to linger longer and appreciate the art at your own pace. We will take your comments on board, especially regarding the audio equipment and pacing, as we are always looking to improve the experience for our visitors. As we normally finish inside you can linger as long as you like - our tour lasts 1 hour.
Tour was an efficient way to see the Pantheon was great, guide was adequate. She was informative but not great. We were to meet at 9:15, she arrived a bit late & explained everyone in Rome is late (not sure that’s true for a timed tour)

We are glad you enjoyed the tour itself and found it efficient and most importantly informative.
Just to clarify, we ask guests to arrive at 9:15 because the tour itself begins at 9:30. This allows time for the group to gather, as Rome can sometimes present unexpected delays for visitors. On this occasion, I personally spoke with the guide, who kindly waited, as we often do, for a guest who arrived just in time for the 9:30 start.
We appreciate your comments and are pleased that you were still able to enjoy the Pantheon tour.
If you get Amanda as your tour guide, cancel!! She was horrible. She had a foul mouth in front of our kids. She is British and told us how she hates Rome and the Italian women don’t like foreigners because they are threatened that we will still their men. Which I found shocking to hear. Then she would stop and point out how American kids have melt downs and Americans needs to relax. She said she’s an angry 50 year old woman who is bitchy. And said for me to NOT cover my shoulders. She said we shouldn’t listen to the rules because it’s not a real church. SHE WAS SO RUDE and ANGRY! I have LOVED all my guides with Viator and they were Italian. This British woman Amanda should be fired. She talked horribly about Italy and the people she works for!! We paid 220.00 for no info except her perspective which was anti Italian and anti Catholic!

My wife and I were the only ones on the tour. Our guide Annalisa was full of historical and architectural knowledge! Perfect for this tour. The Pantheon is an engineering marvel and Annalisa explained it clearly and with details we would not have learned without her as a guide. We were taken thru a separate entry with no waiting. We recommend this tour.

The English speaking guide needs to improve her knowledge of English Saying incredible 27 times shows that the vocabulary needs improvement. The Audio was poor . The explanation’s uninteresting.

I have always wanted to see inside the Pantheon, but the experience was underwhelming..
It may have been the tune we went, as it was later in the afternoon, but the Pantheon was packed with as many people could possibly fit inside, so we could hardly move.
Music was blaring as well, so the whole experience of being in the fabled Pantheon was ruined.
The tour guide was great and tried to give us the history of the building, but it did not miss up for the overall bad experience.
I would not recommend anyone waste their time or money visiting here, especially as there is so much more to do in Rome.

This was a wonderfully informative tour! Sylvia did a great job at explaining the history and answering any questions we had.
With these many people around the area it may be a little hard to located the guide. I used google map it help a lot.
My wife and I really enjoyed Mary Lou’s knowledgeable and interesting tour of the Pantheon. Mary Lou’s talk made Ancient Rome and the later days when the Church took over the site, and after the Kingdom of Italy was created, come alive. She was engaging and developed a rapport with our small group. Her knowledge of the paintings and burial sites was impressive.
Difficult to understand her English. Lingered inside too long and would have preferred seeing and hearing more about the backside and exterior of the building.

While the Pantheon’s remarkable interior forms a substantial part of the tour, we appreciate that you would have preferred more time devoted to the rear and exterior of the building, which is discussed during the introduction at the beginning of the tour. As we run tours daily, it would be very helpful if you could tell us the date and approximate time of your tour so that we can identify the guide and investigate your concerns properly. We work exclusively with officially licensed, fluent English-speaking guides, some of whom are native English speakers. We would also like future guests to know that our tours can be tailored to their interests, and requests to focus on particular themes or areas can often be accommodated.
Our tour guide shared the history while allowing us time for photos and time to rest in seats. We did a photo from the floor to the oculus. We learned about the sun light through oculus to the walls and entry door. It was perfezione.
The guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable.
I wish she had had a flag like other guides. It was not easy to spot her on the huge crowded plaza.
We were given a store to be in front of. That was all.

My wife and I could not understand our guide. It was very frustrating. In addition the tour lasted 40 minutes and not 60. To be fair I would like my money back

We are very sorry that you and your wife were unable to understand the guide and felt that the tour was shorter than advertised. Our Pantheon tours are scheduled to last 60 minutes as this tour did; on this occasion, as everyone arrived early, the tour began ahead of the scheduled starting time, which may have created the impression that it ended early.
Although other members of the group participated actively and asked several questions, we are genuinely sorry that the experience did not work for you.

Guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable and nice.
Know that you may be randomly asked for id upon entry. Shoulders should be covered (although I couldn’t tell if this is 100% enforced).
Mary Lou is an incredible guide and is VERY knowledgeable. Absolutely loved all the information! Highly recommend!
Was very interesting, but not well organized. Met infront of a store. Waited for late people to arrive. The line was HUGE cause it was closed the day before. Could have easily had someone start waiting in line, so the tour ran about 20-30 min. later than it should have. I would have missed another tour ai had scheduled cause of them, but luckily my other tour rescheduled.

Timing is of the essence and thank you for arriving early. We ask people to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier so that the variables can be dealt with, as you mentioned certain days might be considered particular - yours was. Please note that the tour lasts a total of 1 hour and this includes the introduction outside. We purchase pre-booked entrance tickets for each visitor as an agency with named and timed entry, these allow for a swifter access. We are happy your appreciated the guides shared wisdom and thank you for your flexibility on what was, as you mentioned, a particular day. Happy it all worked out and thank you fro your feedback.
Our Tour guide got us right thru the lines took us all over and filled us in on all kinds of great info on the site.
