Hands down the best...

Hands down the best reindeer experience we could have asked for. It was just my friend and I! Juho's family owns the reindeer farm, and they it was all hand built. His mother Liisa picked us up. She was instantly warm and welcoming and we got to know the history of the family farm and reindeer in Finland on the car ride over, fed the reindeer and she made us some pancakes and her home made jams and pancakes by a fire. We had a lovely walk through the forest with the reindeer after. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day at Winter Lapland and we highly recommend it! It is the perfect representation of a beautiful reindeer farm lifestyle and his entire family made us feel very at home.

Exceptional Norther Lights Hunt!

Had a fantastic time with Max and Mika last night hunting for the Northern Lights. It was a very clear night and the Auroras were predicted to come out so it was a pretty easy trip. But what I appreciated from Max was he always kept us updated as to what exactly we were doing, how long it would take us to get to his secret spot and when we stopped and reversed, he explained why his secret spot wasn’t too appropriate for us (snow was too thick). Instead we drove a few miles further to a desolate high road with a clear view of the skies and set up camp. Within minutes we saw faint lights which blossomed into huge Auroras that filled the sky and some that were right on top of us. Milka and Max were right there with their cameras constantly offering to take photos (sometimes multiple) to capture the moment. We stayed for over an hour until the lights faded then we headed back with Max and Milka handing out warm apple cider and cookies. I’ve hunted the Lights in Iceland previously with a little success. A lot of the trip really depends on Mother Nature and the Sun giving off its flares. But what made this trip nice was Max and Milka’s friendly manner, professionalism and smiling faces. I know they must do several trips a week but they made us feel like this trip was special. They are true representatives of the welcoming Finnish culture and I really enjoyed my night out. A few things that were confusing…Apple Maps gave a different location of the office. Luckily, I took an Uber and he dropped me off at the right office. It is crowded with multiple buses leaving at the same time but that’s a bit of a good thing as you can definitely find the office easily.

Most unique way to see the lights

It was so amazing, unique. I did as a surprise for my bf for his bday . Our travel guide , I believe his name Victoria, was so nice and play his part and told the other passengers to play along . On our way to the lake he stopped showed us the beautiful aurora lights , took pictures than we were off to . In the cabin he explained everything suited us up . He took videos and pictures each of us getting into the lake . Turned the lights off ( but he remained right on the dock ) so we have can see the light to the fullest. 😍😍 As coming out he helped me since I got stocked 😂 on the ice 😂. After taking the suit off we had hot tea , cookies . My bf had an amazing time ! These survival suits are fun to float in !! No water got in! Highly recommend this activity since it’s super unique!! 😍😍😍

Best day ever

Our snowmobile experience today was amazing, one of the best things I've ever done in my life! Our guide Nacho was so passionate, professional and helpful. His instructions were clear and we felt confident once we started. Our seven year old son was transported in a heated pod by Nacho which was awesome for him. Great experience ! The ride in the snowy forest was magical, so peaceful. Our 8yo daughter had been wanting to see and pet huskies for so long, and she was finally rewarded ! Perfect, seamless, professional experience

We had an incredible experience booking our Husky Tour. We had transport directly from our Airbnb to the kennel - Soulmate Kennels - near the Finnish border. The driver was friendly and talkative. The kennel itself was amazing. The dogs looked healthy and the scenery - oh, my, god. Endless taiga forests covered in snow and blue sky above with sunshine peeking through. The husky slushing itself is hard work - I much preferred being in the sleigh! The transport back was flexible and the driver was willing to drop us at Santa’s Village, despite this not expressly being included in the booking. We HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

It was my boyfriends 30th so I wanted to book him some amazing experiences for his time in Lapland. We found Snowride Lapland for snow mobiling (something he’s always wanted to do). Incredible Husky Ride

This husky safari was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Our guide, Mika, was fantastic—he arrived right on time for pickup and made sure we were perfectly prepared by providing warm winter overalls. The ride itself was incredible and the highlight of our trip. One of the best parts was getting plenty of time after the sledding to hug and pet the huskies; they are so friendly and well-cared for. We ended the day around a cozy BBQ with hot drinks, marshmallows, and cookies before Mika dropped us back off. Truly a seamless and unforgettable day. Very good, exactly as promised

This is a very efficient way to do both activities. Our tour guide was superb, communicative, and super helpful throughout. In retrospect I would have just done the reindeer farm; the husky village is OK, but the trip itself isn't all that great and it's much less informative and enjoyable than the reindeer ride and farm visit.

Excellent setup. Efficient and well organized. Very fast and challenging too! Wife and small kids came along to watch and had marshmallows by fire with great people that work there. One tip. Non-participants just get a bolt (scandi uber) to the place rather than pay 15 euro for a spectator spot on the bus. Otherwise whole thing always great!!
