Amazing experience! The crew was very helpful throughout the tour, and we loved that this excursion was more affordable than the cruise line equivalent. Having a small group made a huge difference and gave the experience a much more personal feel. Aribel and Yeury were wonderful as driver/guide One thing to note: it’s quite a hike to the taxi meetup, probably 15 minutes if you’re speed-walking like you’re on The Amazing Race so keep that in mind! Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience!

We had an amazing unforgettable experience! We went to the monkeys first and had our own private encounter. Then we went to do the hike to the falls and rock water slides… both activities were awesome!! Our drivers Aribel and Yeuri were super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Good tour

The tour was great. Edwin and his partner transported us in an air conditioned van. Very comfortable. We made a lot of stops especially for shopping. Some touristy shops were a bit pushy but nothing new at these cruise stops. Well worth the $55. Smoked a free just rolled cigar. That was worth it alone for me. I definitely recommend.

The waterfalls were gorgeous and so much fun!! There was a bit of a hike but we had older women and young kids who all made it easily. Definitely worth it! Tammy was our guide for the day and she was friendly, the car was sooo nice and she had lots of info to share with us on the way there and back.

VIP Experience

My wife and I had a phenomenal time on this experience, and it was everything that we hoped it would be and then some! Since there were no cruise ships arriving in to Puerto Plata the day of our excursion, it felt like we had our own private experience. Willy was our guide, and he was incredible. It felt like he gave us a VIP experience and made sure that we had a great time. The ATV was very fun to drive, and we got to experience many great scenic sites along the ride. We rode through dirt roads, villages, and by the beach. The puddles and streams were super fun to drive through too, and we got dirty, which helped make the experience. We stopped at the Jungle for souvenirs and a tasting experience. The food and drink that we tried all tasted great, and we walked away with several reasonably priced souvenirs. We had a stop at the beach which gave us the option to get in and clean off some, as well as enjoy some beautiful scenery. Once we got back to the place, they had shower facilities and changing rooms that were excellent for getting cleaned up. There was some slight confusion about our ride back to the city that was included in what we paid for, but Orlando (supervisor) made it right, and he ensured we got back safely. Overall I would give this a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend this for others to do!

Loved It! Loved it! Loved it! can i go again!

Loved this excursion and such friendly staff, well worth the money paid and would highly recommend this, It is up to you how you want to drive the buggy, either go fast through those big muddy puddles or slowly so you don't get soaked, not sure my wife was too happy as i took the first option and soaked her and the guide done the gentlemanly thing and put her in his buggy so i could carry on going mad with it.

Great service/experience but vendors nog so much!!

Joseph was amazing! Very accommodating and friendly loved his country and gave us great pointers for next time. We did not like how pushy the vendors were in the countryside except Julian!! Man he was amazing! But others did not give us room to look. Also beware of those asking you if you want pictures as they were trying to push for us to pay them more. It was very uncomfortable.

We had amazing tour guides, both Danielle and William we amazing there and back. For the zip line and waterfall tour ask for Carlos and Brayan. Both were hilarious and made the kids feel totally confident the whole time. I was traveling with a 11 and 8 year old and they got them to jump off the waterfall! Highly suggest this excursion over the cruise option. We had AC van, food and multiple cultural stops. The cruise option had an open top safari style truck without AC and no food option for more money… Go this route if you have the option.

10/10 experience, super fun

The tour was absolutely amazing! Darwin was our tour guide and he was very welcoming and friendly. He was super knowledgable about the culture of Puerto Plata and DR. He had great energy and took us great places. He was even great with taking pictures for us. Our favorite part was walking downtown and seeing all the beautiful colors of the city and the Rum Tour. Darwin did a wonderful job and we had a great job. We appreciated him so much and had so much fun. Would absolutely recommend taking this tour of the city and especially with Darwin!

Edgar was amazing!! His tour was outstanding. He took us to see the wonderful parts of Puerta Plata which included a visit to a fort, rum distillery and walked us through the streets to see other sights. He allowed the time and space to enjoy these sights. I would highly recommend booking this!! Our day ended with a nice lunch at a restaurant and a gift from Edgar. This was my FAVORITE excursion.

My husband and myself...

My husband and myself really enjoyed this excursion, they were incredibly friendly and helpful, Oscar, Liam and another gentleman whos name I cant recall sadly, were great company and extremely competent. We felt very safe and well taken care of, highly recommend! There are locals offering sales and hair braiding at the beach but theyre very friendly and not aggressively pushy, just there trying to make a living. Beautiful beach and the trail through the woods was very clear to navigate. I was a first time rider and despite how inexperienced i was, they were kind and patient!

Don't pass up this experience

IT WAS FUN!!!! I apologize that I'm terrible with names but the host was amazing! He was a great conversationalist and immediately put me at ease with his laid back demeanor. This was my 1st time riding on ATV so I a bit apprehensive but that time quickly passed. The tour guides all spoke great English and were just fun to hang around. We explored plenty and didn't have any issues they couldn't resolve. On of the best stops on the tour was seeing how Mama Juana drink was made. 😉😋
