What are people saying about France

Wonderful experience!
I had the best time at Rebecca’s cooking class last night! The class was hosted at their beautiful family home, and she began by telling us all about the history of the land and her family. We cooked a classic Niçoise meal - an onion and anchovy tart, vegetables stuffed with a meat mixture, and lemon tiramisu! Dinner was served with wine, and she even gave us some of her homemade limoncello as a digestif! She was so warm and friendly - great experience!

Cooking with friends
This was a fabulous experience that we would highly recommend. Mimi are teacher and chef was superb and very patient. All the things we baked look so professional and tasted amazing. We would recommend this experience for anyone that would like to try it.

Katie helped make this...
Katie helped make this such a fun experience! My daughter (10) and I loved learning about the history of the bread culture in Paris and how some of the iconic items are made. You get to go behind the scenes and of course get to try making some yourself. Afterward grab some cheese to go with your fresh bread and have a picnic. Definitely worthwhile!

Delicious small macaroons to take home!
This fun class will teach you how to make your own amazingly good small macaroons. They are better than ones I later bought in Paris. Hint: only buy small macaroons; the large ones are very disappointing after taking this class. You will go home with a box of delicious macaroons to enjoy during your time in Paris.
The recipe is provided so you can reproduce the macaroons at home to amaze your family. Or hold a macaroon making party and amaze your friends!

Merci Luc for sharing your passion! This is so much more than a class!
What a great day! We had cooking school that included a trip to the market! We also hit the the fish monger and fromagerie. We learned about labeling organic, what drives fish prices, how to tell the age of oysters and so much more!!! It was truly a taste of Paris!
We returned to the school and had various stations for dicing, peeling, poaching and scooping!
In the end, we cooked a cauliflower soup with leeks and garnished with curry toasted flowerettes. Our main course was a Scottish salmon with a bleurblanc sauce topped with spheres of carrots, turnips, cucumbers (I know, wild!) and scalloped potatoes with tarragon and nutmeg! This was accompanied by a succulent that was salty and crunchy. Dessert was peaches with a raspberry sauce and custard ice cream. Yes, we had wine!!
Thank you so much, Luc for sharing your passion! Your stories about the cheese, the dessert, your travels were the perfect addition to our meal! It was nice that you actually let us cook!
Today we made memories I will cherish forever! I have never thought of cooking a cucumber! I amy even change my mind about nutmeg but I will certainly approach seasoning and sauces differently.
This class was everything and more that I could have wanted! Merci beau coup! 🍷🍷🇫🇷

This experience was...
This experience was exactly what we were hoping for! Learning to make cheese and butter in Paris! We can’t wait to make both again at home. Lola was a great teacher! She made class so fun! The different cheese tastings with wine/juice were an added plus!! Thank you!!

“The art of French cooking”
My husband and I always take a Cooking Class when we travel to different countries. Paulo was our chef who guided our class through out the evening. He was very knowledgeable in the art of cooking and taught us a few different techniques which we did not know in all our years of cooking. Also, the market we were supposed to go to to buy the foods was closed due to a holiday in Paris. He was quick on his feet to find a different market, which was even better than the one we were supposed to go to. We had a very enjoyable evening, Met new friends, and our dinner was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.

Macarons Magic
This was the perfect last day activity for our family. Erica was a wonderful instructor. She was very knowledgeable and excited to share her knowledge of French pastry which was not confined to macarons. My 10 year old loved it and was so proud of her macarons she shared them with her friends at school when we returned home. Thank you for providing such a great experience.

Incredible class...and yummy, too!
Highlight of our time in Paris! The instructor was incredible! Thanks, Stephan!! He was a true pastry chef. He was personable, knowledgable, and made for a great experience. While making the macarons he gave good feedback and helped us to make delcicous macarons. We wouldn't let us fail. We were so lucky that we got to take many home- we ate macarons for days. Yum!! At the end of the class he made dinner reservations for us at an incredible place- best meal we had in Paris. Would definitely take a class again!!

My mom and I loved this...
My mom and I loved this class. We do enjoy baking occasionally but never attempted to make croissants. This class was very particular and specific with instructions that make the whole process easy to follow, helping anyone to make great croissants. The teachers were very knowledgeable and made the class fun. The end results were delicious and we went home with 4 croissants and 4 pain au chocolat EACH. Would recommend this class!

Great lesson in the history of French Baking.
David shared such wonderful history about the Baguette, Financier, and the croissant. He was super patient with letting me ask many questions and he took the time to answer them all.
You will get covered with flour, so should wear layers, with a short sleeve shirt underneath.
This is a working bakery, which is advertised as a plus, as opposed to taking a class in a school. It is fascinating to learn about the history of this particular bakery and how it operates. The downside, of being in this setting, is that the baking area is quite small. Fortunately, my husband and I were the only two taking the class. I am very thankful that it was not cancelled! Honestly, I cannot imagine how the area can fit 8 people, with each being able to get "hands on" experience.
Speaking of hands on. Note that this is a working bakery that turns out 600 baguettes each day. The dough we use has already been mixed and kneaded and proofed. So, you will not learn how to knead dough.
You will learn how to shape the baguette and the croissant.
We did actually make the financier! And they were delicious! As was the hot baguettes, fresh from the oven.
Since it was the two of us, we had the very good fortune of leaving with a bag of financiers and baguettes! Although they almost didn't make it to the metro station lol

Lovely French Cooking Lesson
It was a cozy little group. Chef Dominque shares interesting insights in French food. Love picking out what we eat for lunch and trying something new. I never knew how tasty celery rooted could be. His cooking tips are also easy to follow. Definitely will try it back home.
Companies were great too!!! Had blast with our cooking partners John, Ellie,Bernie and Barbara. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris and enjoying cooking.
