Solid food, incredible show

We did the banquet. The food was lovely, maybe not much better than the dumplings looked but the banquet does get you slightly better seats. The staff serving us were lovely. As for the show, it was absolutely incredible. Quite moving, amazing lights, cannot recommend it enough as a spectacle. Well worth booking.

Wonderful experience, highly recommend

We had a wonderful experience with guide Agnes and driver Giang. Agnes was extremely enthusiastic and gave us background the whole drive to the Warriors. Once we got there she took us all around providing constant insights and being able to answer all our questions. She was engaging but relaxed, a lovely person. We had a great lunch afterwards at a place they chose on the drive back. I would highly recommend a tour with Agnes and Giang as your driver.

One of the luckiest things about this trip to Xi'an was meeting such a great guide, Tracy! Tracy's English is very fluent, her expression is clear, and she has extensive knowledge of Xi'an's history, culture, and tourist attractions. Throughout the entire journey, she not only explained things professionally and engagingly, but also interacted with us in a humorous and witty way, making the whole trip full of laughter. What impressed me the most was Tracy's kindness and enthusiasm. She made me feel very relaxed and at ease, with no sense of unfamiliarity, allowing me to feel the warmth of being at home in this city of Xi'an, which is full of historical and cultural charm. Thank you very much, Tracy, for your thoughtful companionship and wonderful explanation this time; it left me with beautiful memories of my trip to Xi'an! The best guide!

Wow, Rocky really was the most kind, caring guide I've ever come across. As well as that, he was incredibly knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I was with my 76 year old mum and he really looked after us. Everything was done at her pace and he checked on her and helped her constantly. The warrior experience was unforgettable, but Rocky made this even better by being our bodyguard and standing behind us so we weren't pushed and shoved constantly. We had a choice of places for our itinerary, so we chose the stunningly beautiful winter palace and had plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings. Then the wild goose pagoda, where we learnt about the origins of Buddhism in China. It was a truly memorable day with a wonderful guide.

Best tour we had

I strongly recommend this tour company. Our guide Julia was kind and accommodating. Her knowledge of the museum and Xi’an was extraordinary and gave us so much historical and current information. Julia organised a wheelchair guide for my mum at the warriors and was great at building us through the exhibits and the crazy crazy crowds. We got so much out of this day. It was the best. We even extended our tour with a cultural show. I recommend this to anyone travelling with elderly people and if you have mobility needs they are definitely accommodating.

Glimpse into history

We attended the private tour today with our guide Kai, and had an excellent experience. Kai was wonderful, personable, friendly and very attentive to our family’s needs. This was important since we had a child with us. Kai was also able to customise the tour to suit us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Kai was very passionate and knowledgeable about the terracotta warriors and Xian’s history. For this attraction, we would definitely recommend a private tour. Celine the sunshine in rain

It was a really great tour led by Celine. The weather wasn't good as it rained the whole day, but Celine was the sunshine that made the tour so smooth that surprisingly it wasn't stressful at all. She bought umbrellas and ponchos for everyone who needed them, so sweet of her. She's also super knowledgeable of the local history of Xi'An, I was enlightened by the connection of Journey to the West and the Pagoda.

Great experience in Xi’an

We had a great day visiting the Terracotta Warriors and then the Wild Goose Pagoda. There were other options on the tour but we had already visited the wall and the towers as our hotel was close to them. Linda was an excellent guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped us get the best out of our visit. She took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and as I’m vegan helped me to select a suitable meal which was delicious. The restaurant also had a tea house and we tried different teas. The Terracotta Warriors are well worth a visit. It’s such an interesting place and the excavations are ongoing. The history of the pagoda is also really fascinating. We climbed to the top and could see all around the city. I would highly recommend this tour with Linda as she was so friendly and helpful and pointed out other places of interest in Xi’an along the way. Communication was great. Our driver was also very professional and we felt safe. Water and fresh apricots were provided in the car. We enjoyed the day very much.
