Top Vicenza Seasonal & Special Occasions

Discover the little-known Valpolicella Classico wine country just outside Verona and connect with a local winemaker on this small-group winery visit. Take a guided walk through the historic vineyards to learn about the traditional cultivation methods, visit the former icehouse (now the aging room) and barrel cellar, and then relax with a tasting of a number of Valpolicella and Amarone wines.

Our journey begins with a minivan ride to a hidden gem—the recently unearthed Roman villa beneath our Amarone vineyards. Imagine walking in the footsteps of ancient Romans, their lives intertwined with the very soil you tread upon. Here, we’ll savor a unique white wine, crafted exclusively for this occasion. Our guide, a passionate historian, will transport you back in time, sharing tales of the villa’s inhabitants, their dreams, and their daily rituals. Returning to our cellar, we invite you to share our vision—a harmonious blend of wine and agriculture. Here, surrounded by oak barrels and the earthy scent of aging wine, we’ll taste three exceptional wines: Valpolicella, Amarone, and Recioto. To accompany this sensory journey, we present a culinary delight—a dish inspired by ancient Roman recipes. Imagine flavors of heirloom cereals, legumes, and a perfectly aged cheese
