What are people saying about Vancouver

Wonderful Experience
It’s a long day but evenly paced, packed with fun and plenty of bathroom breaks. There were wonderful views and discussion of the history of Vancouver & Victoria. You had enough time to explore on your own in Victoria and at Butchart Gardens. Our guide (Ernie) was a lot of fun.

Pay attention to emails!!
We planned on spending a few days in Vancouver after our Alaskan cruise. We booked our tour about a month prior to our trip. At that time when we got our confirmation and tickets, it said our pickup time was 8:20am at a nearby hotel, we stayed at a VRBO. We arrived at the hotel at 8:10am to see the bus starting to pull away from the curb. Thankfully we flagged the bus down and made the trip. I contacted Viator to let them know about the mistake on times. Evidently in an email they sent the day before, it stated to be 1/2 hour early. Why they don’t just print that on the original email ticket is beyond me. I hadn’t checked email since being on vacation, since I had the tickets in my wallet. So thankful we made it! The gardens were spectacular and we loved visiting Victoria. Our bus driver had a lot of knowledge and shared interesting facts along the drive. He was a bit “rough around the edges”, maybe having a bad day or something? Vancouver traffic would make anyone crabby! The ferry ride was really fun, especially for first timers! Overall it was a great day and so glad we did it. Just wish communication about pick up time was clear from the beginning!

Great trip
Greg was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The weather wasn't the best for Grouse Mountain (foggy and raining) but we both enjoyed it. Also visited Stanley Park, Clevedon Dam, Capilano Suspension bridge and a salmon hat hery which was actually interesting.

Post cruise excursion
We caught the free shuttle from Canada Place to Capilano. Very easy & pleasant experience. Once at the park, we explored all the trails, taking our time and stopped at the gift shop briefly. We spent a total of about 4 hours here. It is a really beautiful park, nicely maintained and clean. We were in awe of the suspension bridge & took a ton of pictures! It was a really great experience & I’d definitely recommend it!
