Day Trips from Tenerife to Mt. Teide (El Teide)

Many travelers visit Tenerife without ever venturing beyond their resort, but the island has many scenic locations worth exploring. Make the most of your vacation time with a full-day adventure. After a convenient pickup from select hotels, cruise through pine forests and otherworldly landscape via mountain roads to El Teide National Park. Weather permitting, hop in a cable car (at your own expense) to travel further up the mountain, where you can marvel at a spectacular view of the other Canary Islands.

This private trekking adventure promises a safe way to explore the trails of Teide National Park, without the worry of getting lost. Led by a guide, you can go at your preferred pace with a chance to take breaks for photos and a picnic along the way. To make the descent easier, the trip includes a cable car ride to the bottom, where a driver waits to take you back to your start point.
