We depart from dock 4 of Puerto Colón, we will set sail in search of cetaceans, we will navigate in the Teno-Rasca special conservation area and up to a distance of 3 miles from the coast, reaching a depth of one thousand meters. We will go in search of the Calderón tropical, one of the main resident species of Tenerife. From the moment we leave the pier very close to the coast, we can already find dolphins, turtles and seabirds. With luck, we may also see some of the migratory cetaceans that frequent the Canary Islands. Great experience and special seeing a large family of whales swim alongside the boat

This was an excellent trip the whole family enjoyed. We arrived at the docks and were shown quickly to a small well maintained boat. We were seated and quickly on our way to see a large family of whales, then, returning close to the shore there was an opportunity to swim (we decided not to), food and drink before we made the trip back to the docks. Overall the trip lasted around 3 hours. The hosts were excellent. Explaining everything clearly, having a good laugh with the guests (this experience is a smaller more personalised group) and looked after us well. We did unfortunately pick a day where the sea was a little rough. Everyone was fine for the journey out but we quickly succumbed to sea sickness one by one. The hosts were great and looked after us really well. Seeing the whales swimming close to the boat was special! If I was change anything I would change the day we went for calmer seas but this isn't the fault of the trip organisers. In fact they had checked the weather and contacted us to ask we came earlier as winds were due to pick up later in the day. Also worth noting that for safety reasons when out at sea it's not possible to walk around the boat. This is really sensible, but it does mean moving around to get better pictures is not easy. Once near the shore where seas were calmer they did allow guests to go around the boat including sitting out front deck to get pictures. We came away despite sea sickness really pleased we did this experience and I'd definitely recommend this due to the small group size which gives a more personal experience and better view of the whales

Amazing experience

The best trip we’ve ever been on while on holiday. Perfect for every age group. Pick up time was accurate, with clean and tidy van and a polite and professional driver. The actual boat trip was faultless, informative tour guide, lots of dolphins and whales and lots of memories made. We stopped for 30 mins for food which was included and the opportunity to swim in the sea. Unlimited drinks from start to finish. Nothing negative to say about the trip.

Fantastic Cetacean Tour

The marine experts shared fascinating information about the marine life in a way that was easy to understand, engaging, and never overwhelming. You could tell they truly care about the animals and educating their guests. The boat ride itself was very smooth and comfortable. We were lucky enough to see both dolphins and pilot whales up close! Perfect Boat Trip

Boat was perfect, 24 people and not overcrowded. facilities, food, drink was good. THe staff were very friendly and informative and couldn't do enough for you. I have been on many boat trips in tenerife and they are too crowded and hard to eat, drink and go to toilet. This was a perfect trip. Highly recommend. I was with 7 year old daughter, mother and friend.

We were very lucky to see pilot whales and dolphins very near. Very knowledgeable captain (Ion) made the experience excellent, learnt loads about the wildlife and the island. Very easy to book/arrive etc and was much less invasive to the wildlife than the big loud boats. Thanks so much!

Excellent tour

Excellent tour with respect for the animals. Not too crowded. Friendly multi langual crew. Unfortunately some robe was broken so no sailing but moving by engine. The music was not particularly my choice but not too loud and once in a while it was turned off. Highlights: * the pilot whales which we could see ànd hear (through a mic into the water). * The swimming in the bay * the food & drinks were sufficient.

A great trip with excellent crew

This was a great trip, the crew were very respectful of the wildlife. We did manage to see dolphins and pilot whales. Crew members were happy to take photos for you on your own phone/ camera. Sea was a little choppy at times and a couple of people were poorly, the female on the staff was very attentive to those who were poorly. Would definitely recommend

This was so good!

This was so good, I’m glad I booked the last one of the day as 1) Was a nice number of people and 2) Caught a stunning sunset at the end. Tour itself - some of it was luck - perfect conditions, we saw several Pilot Whales - including a mother and calf - important that it was in their natural habitat, had a great little swim in the bay too. Brilliant tour, very happy.

A day in paradise

What an experience from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Our taxi driver who picked us up was very helpful and made us feel very relaxed. Guy the Captain, what a fantastic human being. Very passionate about his job and purpose. Very very knowledgable about the wildlife and sea conditions! He was our waiter too serving us chilled Prosecco and Strawberries and beautiful freshly made sandwiches. We saw a very large pod of Pilot whales with babies and sea Turtles. There was plenty of room on board as there were only 4 of us! A truly wonderful afternoon worth every penny. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Beyond incredible experience!

We booked this because of the great reviews and he DID NOT disappoint! Being on a smaller boat made it easier to get up close, plus he was very knowledgable. You could also tell that he cares for the wildlife there by not chasing after any animals and just letting them get close to us with the boat engine off. I can't recommend him enough!
