- Seas the Day USVI is dedicated to a healthy experience. We have partnered with RayBiotech and all of our Captains and Crew are tested for Covid 19 each month. You will see each wearing a Covid Free bracelet. Each of our vessels are sanitized after each trip using established CDC and WHO guidelines. Since this is primarily an outdoor activity, masks are not required but can be worn by our guests if preferred.

Checkin was great! The lady was super nice! Spots he took us to were awesome! Saw lots of turtles! This was our favorite experience we did on our vacation! A lot of rules, instructions, and very strict which I understand for safety. But once you got past all that, it was super fun! Beautiful experience!

This was one of the best excursions we’ve done. Coming from the cruise port (it’s $15pp via taxi which is more like a shuttle-bus type situation and takes 20-30 min), the captain was ready to go upon arrival. We were actually late with the taxi situation but they checked in with us via phone to make sure we were still enroute.
Our captain (Captain Bryson, whom we loved), was amazing and tailored our itinerary to what we needed, especially with a young child. We saw fishes and turtles, and had a little tour of St. Thomas, and it was absolutely perfect.
There is a fuel charge (based on what you use) and can pay via Venmo, as well as the gratuity to the captain. Very convenient!
Bring snacks, sunscreen and towels on board! There are no bathrooms on the boat so be sure to use the bathroom right before.
Getting a taxi upon leaving was difficult so we recommend having a taxi arranged ahead of time to get back to the port.
All in all, best excursion ever! Five stars all around. Thank you for an amazing time!

We had a great day! We saw all kinds of marine life including several sea turtles. I was afraid of the gas charge, but it was not as much as I thought it would be. We would definitely book again, much better than doing a large group through the cruise excursions. Plenty of drinks for all ages!

Great experience and the day can be customized for what you wanna do. Wallens was our captain today and he was very thorough and knowledgeable. Plenty of snorkel gear and noodles for floating. We lucked out and got the fastest boat in the fleet.😁

Captain Rogan and First mate Philip worked to make the best of less than ideal weather (atleast initially). It was raining more than desired when we first arrived at the yacht club. Our family wanted to head up along the North shore of St John, but the clouds suggested that was not going to happen. They took us over to Great St James Island to snorkel at Christmas Cove. That allowed the weather to clear and then we made our way to St John. They took us to various historical locations along the North shore and two more snorkeling spots. By the end of the day, the sun came out for sunset! They were professional and very personable. We would recommend Seas the Day and the crew to anyone. We would definitely go out with them again.

Captain Ro made the day feel easy and fun, tailoring the experience so it worked perfectly for a family. He shared great local insight, pointed out spots we never would have found on our own, and made sure the boys felt included and excited the entire time. Exceptional all around - highly recommend Seas the Day Charters. Our captain, Captain Aaron Wallens, was very knowledgable about both St. Thomas and St. John and took us to the best spots based on what we we wanted to do. We snorkeled in an area with sea turtles and stingrays and a beautiful secluded beach. The boat itself was as pictured, well-stocked with beverages and equipment and fit our 7-person group perfectly. Keep in mind no snacks or food is provided to bring your own or plan time in your itinerary to make a stop at a location with a restaurant (we didn't have time on our half day trip to do that). Not related to this company but worth noting for cruise travelers - We did this excursion coming off a RC cruise ship and it did take about 30-40 minutes to drive to and from the ship to the marina, which we were prepared for, but the cost of the local transportation was higher than expected so plan to have enough cash for that! ($18-$20 per person each way).

Thanks to Captain Wallens our two families saw all the sights and enjoyed great snorkeling even though we didn’t have as much time as we wanted on the island due to our cruise port departure time. He is very knowledgeable about the islands. We have been on several private guided snorkeling trips together and this one was top notch. We all agreed we would gladly do it again.

We had a wonderful time! Captain (A-Aron) was amazing and brought us to the best spots. We swam/snorkeled with sea turtles, Sting Rays and saw the most amazing fish. We hit private islands accessible only by boat and the entire could not stop raving!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Mike. We left St. Thomas (American Yacht Harbor Marina) and circumnavigated St. John’s with 30-minute to 1-hour long stops at Maho Bay, Leinster Bay, Lime Out (Tacos for Lunch… very good!), Booby Rock, Great Lampshur Bay…. With plenty of minor stops to point out cool houses and historical reference points. We snorkeled following around sea turtles and lots of pretty fish over the reefs. Captain Mike was a wealth of knowledge. He was also very safe and great with the kids. I give this tour a 10 out of 10 rating!

We had a fabulous afternoon with Captain Brian on the Aquarius. We snorkeled with a sea turtle, a sting ray, and saw beautiful fish. He brought us to a ship wreck and we snorkeled there. It was amazing. We even caught the sunset. Our family is ages 17-77 and everyone was able to enjoy the boat and swim. We highly recommend this trip with Brian!

We had a great time! Highlight of our trip. My family of 8 is not easy to please :), but everyone was so happy. We saw sea turtles, beautiful fish, and capped off the trip with an amazing, secluded beach. Our captain, Sammy, was awesome! Made us all feel so comfortable plus gave us lots of great factoids about the islands. Would highly recommend Seas the Day.

We had an amazing experience with our captain Hillary! She messaged us the morning of our boat day to make sure we had everything we needed. And was very knowledgeable about the best snorkel spots and beaches. We swam with tons of sea turtles, and even got to hop off the boat for a quick drink at a beach bar on St. John! Would definitely do this again in the future! Make sure to bring reef safe sunscreen!

Our family of 8 booked this tour for our cruise stop in St. Thomas. We collectively agreed it was the highlight of our 8 night cruise. Captain Mike got us to some great stops in St. John and the cost was more affordable than a shore excursion from the cruise line where you are with the masses. This tour allows you to tailor your time to the place you want to see and the amount of time you want to spend in those locations. 100% recommend this as an option for cruisers calling in St. Thomas.

We rented a boat for half a day and had absolutely the best day of our trip. The Sees the Day charter company and most importantly, Captain Mike, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kind.
When we boarded the speedboat, he asked us what we’d like to do, offering up a few options. We jointly customized the day (we opted for focusing on St John and its most rural beaches, asked to see turtles when snorkeling :))) and we hit all of them. We got a wonderful tour around St John, hit the best beaches, saw sea turtles, stingrays and abundance of all tropical fish, had the best punch prepared by Mike himself and got amazing pictures out of the day too. While not an inexpensive 1/2 day experience, it was by far $s wellspent . We will never forget this day!
