Top St Kitts Horseback Riding

Glad we did it! Pick up was seamless at the port. We appreciated the clean, air conditioned van. Our driver Elvis was friendly. The atv tour was super fun. We loved our guides Ivan and Manners. My daughter had never driven one and they made sure she was confident and looked after. Adventurous enough for two 19 year olds and a 16 year old. Afterwards they provided water and soap to get cleaned up. You will get filthy!! Highly recommend wearing things you don’t mind getting dirty. Also something to cover your mouth would be helpful. The beach part of the excursion was fine. Chairs and umbrellas available to rent for a cost and a restaurant with drinks and food. We probably could have done without the beach. (We live near beautiful beaches so hard to compete) overall, a great way to spend your day in port.

Our tour guide, Magic, was great! He gave us a great overview of the island and its features, history and culture. Meet up was close to the cruise terminal and very simple to find. The air conditioned van was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the beautiful garden, batik demonstration (and shopping) at Romney Manor. The fort at Brimstone Hill was interesting with some great photo ops. There are quite a few steps (uneven stone stairs) to access the top of the fortress. Our entry fees for Romney Manor and Brimstone Hill were included in our tour charge and Magic handled all that for us with no expectation or hassle to us. I do not know if all tours include the entrance fees or processes. It was nice that it was all included. Timothy Hill was a stunning overlook and photo stop. We decided not to stay at the beach because the wind had changed direction and there was quite a lot of seaweed the day we were on the island. Magic had great, cold local beverages for us in the van (Ting sparkling grapefruit drink and a sparkling Pear option.) We were dropped off right at the cruise port shopping area to finish our day with some shopping on the way back to the ship with plenty of time.

My husband is an experienced ATV’er I AM NOT but Ivan gave me the confidence and support I needed. Both my husband and I had an amazing time!!! Ivan and Donnie kept checking on the whole group to make sure everyone was ok! We both would definitely do this again!!!!! The whole thing was amazing from pick up to “training” to rinding to drop off!!! Some suggestions…. Definitely wear closed toe shoes. You’d probably be ok in sandals but we went through some very rutty and weedy areas and I was very glad we had on sneakers. And you WILL be filthy when you’re done. Also, I was exhausted when we were done probably due to adrenaline but whew!!! This was so much fun.
