Explore the lush countryside of Saint Kitts during this fun-filled ATV ride. It's the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and culture during your island visit. Begin the trip with pickup from your St. Kitts hotel, continuing to the ATV shop where you'll meet your guide, hear a quick safety overview and get your riding gear. Once you're geared up and ready to go, turn your ATV throttle and zoom off into the countryside.
Get dirty and have some fun on the excursion's winding paths, zooming past lush sugar cane fields and the rolling hills along the way. Soon you'll arrive at the historic Wingfield Estate, a 17th-century sugar and rum plantation once owned by ancestors of US president Thomas Jefferson and considered to be the first English settlement in the Caribbean. You'll also hear insights from your guide into the island's history with the sugar trade.

My mom and I had an amazing time on the ATV riding excursion in Saint Kitts! The scenery was absolutely beautiful—from the lush landscape to the stunning views. Our tour guide, Ivan, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about the area, patient, and so kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and took the time to share insights about the island along the way. I would highly recommend this ATV excursion to anyone visiting Saint Kitts. It was truly a memorable experience!

The most awesome ATV tour ever. Company and guides were amazing. Professional, on time and made sure everyone was safe, but had fun. Those more experienced were brought up front to ride with guide for speed.

Both of the tour guides were amazing and knowledgeable. They were great with our first timers and are more experienced ATV riders. I would highly recommend taking this tour when visiting St. Kitts.

Fantastic time with the quad bike guys from start to finish. We were picked up from the port and taken up to the start point where we briefed on the quad bikes and each given helmets. The tour takes you on off-road winding paths with stopping points along the way to take photos. The tour guys are really good fun and knowledgeable about the island; it’s history and culture. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommended the trip. Few things to know: you don’t need your driving license; if you worried about handing the ATV you can ride pillion; it’s off-road driving and the paths are bumpy - but that adds to the fun and you go at a pace to suit your ability and conditions.

Cool excursion! We were able to get picked up from our hotel with no problems. Once at the location, we were instructed on rules/safety and able to complete a practice run prior to the start. The ATV ride is through woodsy and fields (not so much tropical forest) and small, outskirt neighborhoods. We got to see lots of nature, animals, and the beautiful views of st. Kitts. Able to stop frequently to take pics but overall the tour guides keep your route to a schedule. The guides go quickly but you are able to at your own pace and they will wait up for you. I’d recommend this for teens or young adult families that are looking for something active.
Also, I recommend wearing old workout clothes/ sneakers because you will get very dusty!

We booked this ATV excursion through Viator during our cruise stop in Basseterre, St. Kitts, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing due to our tour guide’s behavior.
From the beginning, the guide (Manners) had a rude and argumentative tone toward my husband. During the safety instructions, we were never informed that there would be loose animals — sheep, goats, pigs, wild horses, and chickens — running freely across the trail. At one point, he accused my husband of intentionally trying to hit a sheep, which was completely untrue and upsetting. If animals regularly cross the route, that should absolutely be mentioned clearly during the safety briefing.
He also yelled at my husband for “kicking up dirt” near a residential home along the path. This was confusing, as this is an off-road ATV excursion where dirt and dust are naturally part of the ride.
Midway through the tour, the guide began riding far ahead of us at a very fast pace, leaving a large gap between us. There were several moments where we felt pressured to speed up just to keep up, which made the experience feel stressful rather than enjoyable.
At the end of the excursion, my husband calmly expressed that he did not appreciate being yelled at. The situation escalated, and the guide became visibly angry and began cursing in his native language. It was very unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Another staff member, who identified himself as the owner, drove us back to the cruise port and attempted to smooth things over by stopping at an additional tourist photo location, which we appreciated. However, it did not change the overall negative experience.
After reflecting on our trip, I felt it was important to leave an honest review. We were only in St. Kitts for a few hours, and this excursion ended up leaving a very bad impression. Professionalism and clear communication are essential, especially when dealing with tourists and safety equipment.
I would not recommend this tour.. overall the atv did not feel safe to operate and especially if this particular guide is assigned to you.

What an amazing experience. Having done ATV rides 2 other times, this was by far our most challenging but well worth the ride. Our guides were very focused on safety and fun. I highly recommend this to people who like to see the world in an exciting manner

I recommend that if you book this excursion you specifically ask for Ivan. My family had the misfortune of having Mr. Manners who was obtuse and unpleasant the entire tour.
He complained often even before we left to get on the trail about the group’s lack of knowledge of ATVs and how to operate his. Note, these ATVs are a bit larger than the average ones. We driven ATVs several times in Cabo San Lucas, St. Lucia, and Italy with no problems. Manners was often speeding on the course, riding on 2 wheels, even through the residential areas, leaving the group behind and angrily stating that we would get lost if we didn’t ride faster and “keep up”. It’s as if he was riding with his cousins and not leading a tour. Be warned that the trail is not flat as pictured in the ad. It’s hilly, with sharp turns and rough with lots of deep puddles and holes so you can’t comfortably or safely ride extremely fast with a rear passenger.
Manners warned us of one puddle that could get us soaked by telling us to elevate both legs near the handlebars to avoid getting drenched. That was thoughtful. Unfortunately, moments later we encountered a deep “pit” on the trail and our ATV shifted into the hole resulting in my leg getting badly bruised. He walked back to the ATVs and said “what are you doing?” Manners showed no concern and was annoyed that we apparently slowed the group down to examine my injury.
What was meant to be a fun day off the resort resulted in me getting injured and being chastised for 2+ hours. Manners seems like he’s very unhappy with his job and punishes customers for it.
If you book this activity, insist on getting Ivan since the reviews I just read shared the same bad experience with Manners - not a way you want to end your vacation.

Awesome time with the family. My wife and I each had an ATV and our teenage boys (under 16) rode in the back. Takes you through the hills and neighborhoods over varying terrain. Our guide was flying, but only because I feel like he knew we would all keep up. We all felt safe. The trip is mostly about enjoying the ATVs and the terrain - this is not the tour to take if you want a lot of knowledge of the region and sights etc. We would definitely do this again!!

This tour was truly off road. I would not recommend this tour for a beginner; but if you have driven an ATV a few times before, you will find this tour exciting and immersive in the countryside of the island. I would definitely take this tour again.

Route and scenery was not as expected. Went through neighborhoods, streets. But it was fun and the guides were great. Just expected more with panoramic views and a beach break.

This is a very fun experience. The tour was a mixture of some road riding but mainly off road which was not all flat. The rugged terrain made it more exciting to ride. We stopped several times to take photos and to learn about the area. Our guides were terrific. They made sure we were all comfortable and knowledgeable on how to use the ATV’s. They were very personable too.

Great experience! Ivan was the best guide we could have asked for. We lucked out and it was only my boyfriend and I on our tour, and we have experience driving quads so we were able to navigate pretty well, but even if you don’t have experience they are great about teaching you and making sure you go at a pace you feel safe at. Would highly recommend this tour and Ivan as a great way to see the beautiful island of St. Kitts! We spent a week here and did this tour early in the week which was a perfect way to start our trip. Thanks again to Ivan who went above and beyond to make this experience special!

Book this tour! Our tour guide Ivan was awesome. They picked our group of 4 up from the cruise port. The other people scheduled for our tour had a delayed cruise so it ended up just being us 4 on the tour. As an adventurous group who has driven ATVs before, I highly recommend. All the terrain was off road which was very fun. The island is beautiful and all the equipment worked great. We saw a 400 year old tree with a huge bee hive. We asked Ivan if we passed by any local honey shops on the tour. He went out of his way to take us for some local honey. Great business and hope to go back again someday. 10/10 recommend

This trip was the highlight of our cruise. We had an our 3 kids with us and the guides couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. They were knowledgeable about the island and took care to make sure all of us were safe and had fun. They were SUPER professional and lovely to our kids. They took time fitting the equipment and teaching how to use the ATV. I highly recommend this trip!
