This was a fantastic excursion that I would highly recommend. Got to see a good amount of the island through the tour, going through the city, then up the mountain, through some forests, along the coast on the other side, and ending at the beach in Frigate Bay. The Jeeps drove smoothly. I was in St Kitts for a cruise so I was initially worried that we wouldn't make it back in time but our tour guide Eldon eased my concerns and we were back with plenty of time to spare. Eldon was so personable and fun to chat with. Thank you for showing us your island Eldon!!

Awesome experience! Carl was a top notch tour guide and so fun! Very knowledgeable about the island and history and so fun to drive the jeeps around with! Excellent views of the island and finished our time with a couple hours chilling at the beach! Wonderful experience!

I thought this was worth the experience, it was much cheaper than any other excursions through the ship. We ported from 8am-4pm, got the message a few days ahead of time that we'd start at 9:30am. Was told to meet in the yellow building and they'd be holding a sign. I was starting to get nervous when it was right at 9:30 and saw no sign, but someone else on the excursion with us decided to hold it up high, they were right at the entrance where you first walk in. The person wasn't holding the sign up to where I could see, it was just leaning against the post, so make sure you're walking around.
Ride to the spot where the jeeps were is just a couple of minutes. Only one other family, so two groups. Wife and I got our own Jeep, it was right-hand drive, which was neat to experience, but the other family got a normal (to US drivers) left-hand drive Jeep.
Roads were definitely off-road feeling but nothing scary or concerning. One part towards the end of the tour, our guide made sure to tell us to follow his path exactly, otherwise we could get stuck in the deep ruts. No problems, but the roads were pretty dry. If our paths were wet/muddy, it would've been a lot more interesting.
We were taken pretty far up in the hills, the view back down to Basseterre was amazing and you could see our cruise ship, looked like a toy from that distance. We ultimately went to two spots and then back to park the Jeeps, in total it took about 90 minutes. Probably would be longer if there are more people with your group or some talkers who like asking questions.
We were dropped at Frigate Bay Beach, specifically the Vibes Beach Bar. Agreed to be picked back up at 1:30pm, which they were right on time for, and got us back to the shops outside the port. The pina coladas at Vibes were the best I had on my cruise. They did charge us $5 for chairs, but it was in the shade at least. Nice staff though, they came out and talked to us quite a bit. Beware the sand at Frigate Bay Beach is dark with black specs, it was insanely hot, bring appropriate footwear.
All in all, nice tour, worth the money, interesting to drive a right-hand drive vehicle on left-hand roads. Good views, good host.

Great excursion! We were met at the port entrance by our guide, Eldon. We took a short air conditioned van ride to get our jeep. Each family had their own jeep. It was a group of 3 families this particular day and it was perfect! No cramming into a crowded bus or sharing the experience with 100+ people like cruise ship excursions tend to do.
Eldon led our group up the mountain for some pretty amazing views. He also shared fresh sugarcane and mangoes with all of us.
He was fun and friendly! After off roading in the jeep he shuttled us to Frigate Bay Beach where we enjoyed pretty water, an ice cold beverage and a jerk chicken lunch ( not included)
When we decided to stay at the beach longer than our allotted time, it was no issue! We caught a cab back for $20 for 4 of us!

We were picked up at port by Eldon, who took us to get our Jeep and led the tour up the mountain. 1st time driving a right-hand-drive vehicle on the left hand side of the road. He was very good at giving us hand signals as we were following him. Off-road is an understatement..... It was crazy and bumpy fun. We got to the top of the mountain and he pulled out a sugar cane stalk and cut some pieces off for us to enjoy. He knows everything about local history, and his personality was flawless. Very funny dude. We trecked towards the beach through the hills and made another stop on a peak and he pulled out fresh mango and ice cold water. Driving wise it's pretty demanding, but fun. We dropped our Jeep off after 2 hours in the hills, then he drove us to the beach. Had a couple beers, put our toes in the water for an hour, then he dropped us off at the port. We would do this excursion again 100 times.

First you need to know that you will likely end up in a jeep with another couple. You don’t get your own car and you’re expected to share. We had four of us in our car.
Driving through the hillside was fun, but I was really concerned that our car was going to seize up. So many things didn’t work. The air conditioner didn’t work. The horn didn’t work. The check engine light and low tire pressure lights were on the entire time. The hot oil light came on at one point. We let the guides know about these issues but they seemed very unconcerned about all of it. The card suddenly turned off while we were driving on one occasion. The transmission was not working smoothly. The driver‘s front tire was bald. Somehow we made it to the end of the trip without a major emergency.
The Beach they took us two was not very nice. It was very small with waves crashing right on the shoreline. Nobody went in swimming. So we just sat and drank beer for an hour. Not our best adventure with Viator.
Great family-friendly Jeep tour in St. Kitts! Our kids loved the adventure—especially getting off the main roads and onto some really primitive back trails with amazing views. The guide led from a Jeep in front, which made navigating the trickier sections much easier and less stressful.
Driving on the left side was a bit intimidating at first, but the guide paced everything well and gave me time to get comfortable. Nice touches like fresh sugar cane and bottled water along the way were appreciated.
We had the option to stop at the beach, but skipped it this time since the kids were ready to head back for lunch. Overall, a fun and memorable way to see more of the island!

This was absolutely great experience. Eldon was the perfect host. Funny and made sure we had a great time. Loved driving through the hills and getting the sights in.
Stopped at the beach afterwards and had an hour and half of sun, drinks and food. Totally recommended.

For our group we felt that it was an average tour. The tour guides were very funny and nice, Eldon and Nico. They made the trip. For those coming off a cruise, it is probably more exciting. We were staying on the island and had our own transportation to where we could take the pictures from above in the mountains. They stopped twice for pictures in the mountains looking over the airport and the island, which was cool. We did have a jeep break down so 3 of us had to ride with the driver of the tour but we learned a lot about the island.

Man with the monkey wants $20 to take your picture with your own phone. The beach sand was horrible crushed seashells. Will cut your feet.

so the disappointment of the tour came from elements that are out of our control or is not apart of the tour? This is unfair. We don't mention monkey nor do we control want a man with monkey wants to charge. It's a beach, it has sea shells, that common in the Caribbean.
Very nice tour! Some nice dirt rods. Stunning views. Guide was awesome and funny. Would recommend this tour

We booked SKN Jeepers via Viator several months before our cruise, and from start to finish the experience was flawless. Traveling as a group of nine, we emailed ahead to confirm we could have one jeep for four and another for five. The team accommodated this with no issues whatsoever, which immediately gave us confidence in their organization and customer care.
Pickup from the cruise port was simple and well-coordinated. A short bus ride brought us to the jeeps, and then the real adventure began. This wasn’t just a gentle drive down gravel tracks—this was proper off-roading! We tackled trails filled with rocks, ravines, and rugged terrain, and the jeeps themselves looked every bit the part: tough, well-used, and built for exactly this kind of action.
Every moment of the trip was brilliant. The views across St. Kitts were breathtaking, the 4x4 action was exhilarating, and the guides were simply fantastic—fun, knowledgeable, and full of energy that made the day even more memorable. Their enthusiasm and humor kept the whole group smiling from start to finish.

It was so much fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour from beginning to end. We had the opportunity to see much of the Island and drive to the tops of the mountains and through the rain forest. Not to mention, air conditioning!

The off-road experience was amazing! Be prepared to be tossed around in your seat though! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and lead us through some beautiful parts of the island, He also had us stop along the way a couple times for amazing views and photos. At one stop, he provided cold water, and fresh local sugar cane for us to try. Once we returned from off-roading, we went to a nearby beach for an hour+. The beach was a bit shelly, so probably best to have water shoes, and just be on the lookout for a couple locals taking your picture and wanting money for it.

GREAT excursion, traveled through the hills of St. Kitts. Eric is very knowledgeable of the area and the history behind it. Some hairy times on the trail which just added to the experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Fun driving yourself through some rugged terrain to find a beautiful overlook from high above. Beautiful pictures. Eldon was fantastic! Very informative and knowledgeable about the island. See how many refrigerators you can find... They have a purpose!

It was ok. The path you take in the jeeps really isn't in the rainforest, you drive through neighborhoods and on roads more then in the rainforest. The rainforest part is actually really short and you get one really good view. The beach you go to afterwards is not that great, I am sure there are other better beaches. This beach had lots of rocks, the restaurant near it was not great. I wouldn't do this trip again, nothing special and wasn't all that fun.
Misleading about the excursion. Unorganized, overbooked for number of jeeps available, jeeps in poor & filthy condition. Beach experience not as promised or expected. Especially when as soon as you arrive, someone is yelling at you repeatedly that “I AM THE BOSS, YOU HAVE TO DO AS I SAY, YOU ONLY HAVE ONE HOUR!!

Hi Nancy, You were on our tour on Saturday with 6 persons. your 6 persons got 3 jeeps 2 each How are we over booked when you had 3 jeeps for 6 persons. We cleaned all jeeps Friday evening the day before the tour.
The beach time is 1 hour and all my guides are doing is informing you of the time so that you are back on time. We did not say we are the boss. We simply make the annocment when we get there.
Sorry you were disappointed but the tour was delivered as advertised
Carl, our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. The trip was as previously rated( should have looked before booking). The provided jeeps were all in need of washing, tires and general mechanical repair.
Upon returning from the tour, the transport bus failed to start, despite a heroic effort by our guide. We moved back to jeeps for transport to Frigate Bay for lunch. The tour restaurant was barely ok, we stayed for a moment and walked the .75 miles back to our hotel(the trip to our hotel was offered by our guide Carl). Carl was great but had little to work with- tour was rough and through some trashy areas.
We found this last minute the day before our cruise stop. It was so much fun and worth it. It was very easy for pick up at the cruise terminal. It was so fun to go off roading and then all the way to the top for amazing views and then get to spend some time at the nice beaches as well. Eldon was an amazing guide we had a blast.

This tour was great. Picked up on time from our hotel.Our guide Elkin (I think) was brilliant. Took us by mini bus to jeeps then went off road tour.
Jeeps were fun and guide was funny and good.
Ended up at beach for 1 hour then dropped off back at hotel.
All in all excellent experience.
