Alanya Shipyard (Alanya Tersanesi) Tours and Tickets

Great day out. Both the guide and driver were brilliant. Great value day out not rushed at all. They gave lots of information would recommend 💯 really enjoyed the boat trip and the cable car.

The cable car is the highlight of this tour. You'll have an amazing views of Alanya and Cleopatrra beach. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Pick up from hotel was good, at the the boat staff was very friendly we had fun with the captain trip was excelent, lunch was ok would do it for sure a next time when im back in Alanya

The crew on board were super friendly, helpful and approachable. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not really Muslim friendly. Music is on full blast and we didn't feel comfortable being there as hijabis. There weren't really any other Muslims on board. The food was good, the crew were amazing, the boat was clean. I liked how the captain took us to the quiet areas first before the other boats came. We drop about 3-4 times for a swim, dive and to take in the amazing view. There was music blaring, dancing and a foam machine.

Pick up was perfectly on time, the tour guide was friendly, funny and professional. Our driver drove safely and was professional also. The tour guide explained everything in detail and also gave us interesting facts on Turkey during our drive. The tour was well planned, lunch was delicious with options - vegetarian, fish or chicken and then sides, which included various salads, fries, pasta and bread. The price of drinks was additional, which is clearly stated before booking the tour. I visited the caves and cable car. The cave is €5 extra, but was worth it. The cable car was fun and takes several minutes to reach the top. We were given free time at the top to explore the castle and market that was there. We then had free time after lunch, which was great. You could get a coffee/drink or look at the clothing stores. I’d definitely recommend this tour.

Overall a fantastic, relaxed and child friendly event. Despite it being a halal event it’s something which even non Muslims would enjoy

Fun time spent with the SwordLion team. Obviously when you have a mixture of people, you can't please everyone. Overall enjoyed.

This is a lovely day out that could have been made better. Stopping to see bananas grow was nice, the stop in the centre of Alanya is a total waste of time as you waste an hour looking at the same fake stuff that is everywhere. Boat trip was good as was the lunch at the restaurant in the canyon and sitting on cushions on the raised areas above the water was nice. Cable car was good but no one tells you it only takes you part of the way up meaning you need quite a lot of time to actually get to the citadel at the top. We never made is to the citadel because we only had 45 mins before we had to come down again which was a real shame and not made explicit in the description of the trip. Having said that the views from where we got to were great and the old mosque at the top is worth a visit. The reason we only had 45 mins was cos we had a visit to a cave with stalactites and stalagmites included which ate into the time. Some people didn't have the cave on their itinerary so had longer could have reached the citadel. To make this a better trip I would ditch the visit to the centre of Alanya as it doesn't add anything to the day at all and use that time for longer at the castle and citadel.
