Great experience

We had an amazing experience on this Bali tour! We made a few changes to the itinerary and visited Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple instead of the rice terraces, and had lunch at d’Alas, which turned out to be a great choice. Our driver, Desna, was absolutely fantastic. He was always on time, an excellent and safe driver, incredibly patient, and very knowledgeable about Balinese culture, history, and the places we visited. He was also respectful, friendly, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire day. The Gates of Heaven, Tirta Gangga, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, Tirta Empul, and lunch at d’Alas made for an unforgettable experience. Desna helped make the long day enjoyable and stress-free, and we truly appreciated all of his recommendations and local insights. If you’re visiting Bali and looking for a reliable, professional, and knowledgeable driver, I highly recommend requesting Desna. He helped make our Bali experience even more special!

Everything was great!...

Everything was great! Clear communications on the meeting point. Jose was there holding a sign with my name on it. He even texted me when he arrived at the port. Since we were disembarking the ship, he helped with our luggage and we were dropped off at our hotel in town for no extra charge. The tour was interesting and informative. Jose is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his culture which is evident throughout the tour. Traffic is very hectic and heavy in Bali and Jose did an excellent job of driving. Highly recommended.

Saw everything.

Great company. They went out of their way to help us as we were coming from Seminyak but then staying on the island. The tour was not overly busy and there were lots of guides. We saw manta rays swimming around us. The next place has turtles. The fish in the reef were spectacular. Food was good. Very enjoyable and easy trip.

Vitho was very...

Vitho was very communicative and right on time to take us all the way up to UBUD and the surrounding areas. He was very patient with the encountered traffic and took care of us in acquiring our entrance tickets, etc. He was especially knowledgable about the Hindu Temple that we visited - a highlight of the tour. A Viator suggestion is to update this event - as the D'Alas Warung restaurant is no longer featured in this tour --- it was one of the reasons we selected it. We did not mind paying to visit this restaurant, but other guests may feel differently. We felt badly for Vitho being caught in the middle of this error. But he handled it very professionally.

Difficult but worth the effort

This multi-site tour is a great experience with much to offer. The hidden gorge was a bigger challenge than we expected. Our guide through the gorge really stepped up and helped my wife, which we greatly appreciated. The waterfall was beautiful, and the temples were fascinating. Our tour guide and driver was Dawa, and he was great too. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the temples.

Excellent tour of South Bali with Dewa!

We had an excellent day with our tour guide Dewa visitng various interesting sites in south Bali. We were picked up on time from our hotel just before 10am. Dewa took us around all the sites in the itinerary. He was very informative and helpful through out the day and we had a really enjoyable day with him. We visited blow hole, Pandawa & other beaches, GWK cultural site, Uluwatu temple and the Kecak and fire dance performance at the temple. It was a long day and we got back to hotel around 7.30pm but we enjoyed every minute of it. Local indonesian lunch at GWK was excellent too. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide Dewa. Communication from Golden tours prior to the tour was excellent too.

This is a fantastic Full Day experience. Don’t plan on doing anything else on this day. We had an amazing guide who helped us understand about the local culture and beliefs whilst keeping us entertained in the seemingly chaotic traffic between our villa and the attractions. 10/10 thanks Ardy

Alex is Amazing, Thank you so much for being so kind!

Alex is great!!! He was on time. He suggested great ways (swings) to pass time while we waited for my turn at the Gates of Heaven, he pulled over so I could see the rice fields and explained the processes, and suggested a DELICIOUS local restaurant for lunch (I had take aways). During our travels Alex shared a lot of information on Balinese culture and structure (Great Conversation). We were on the road at 4:30am and I was surprised by the traveling on the road so early for the markets. Balinese work really hard.
