Uluwatu Temple Visit and Kecak dance

Visit to beach was wonderful, just to rent an umbrella and watch the waves roll in and drink fresh coconut juice. Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple was a new and exciting experience for all of us. Great visit despite the intense heat! Dinner at another beach was a bit dark as it was quite late. Some lights strung overhead would have been nice.

I really appreciated Agus, and how helpful/thoughtful he is. He had everything we could possibly need (umbrella, water, bag to keep our phones etc). He also had a lot of experience with the best spot to sit for the best possible kecak dance experience. Great photographer, and dinner was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

There was no indication at booking that there were aggressiv monkeys at the temple Uluwatu. So we change the route with our guide.

Hi Mr. Josef, thank you for your time to write this review. we appreciate it very much. but, we are very frustrated with your review because we did not even go to this temple yet. one day before the tour you inform us to go to other places instead of uluwatu temple, and we said yes. at the end you were very happy with the other tour we suggest. if we do uluwatu temple tour and you made the review, we are ok with your review. but, this time we do not do uluwatu temple tour. we have done uluwatu tour for years and never had an issue with the monkeys because our driver/guide will take care of you. wherever you go, animal will be aggressive if you do not treat them well or you do not follow the instruction. our guide there is to make sure you follow the instruction. we are agree that review should be fair, but this terrible review is not fair for our team who were trying very hard to cater your needs. Too Crowded.

It was so crowded. The temple was great. Monkeys were cool to see, but there should be more structure in terms of how many people enter the temple, the walk through should be going one way. Theres a little walk way were you can walk through to get to the other side, people were going both ways which made it difficult to get through. There was a monkey who grabbed a mans hat. The man tried to grab it back, the monkey almost attacked him and everyone tried to run out the way, and I almost got trampled. The show was cool to see, the actors did so good. But again too crowded. I mean they were having people sit on the walkway, which was a safety hazard. If there was an emergency, it would be chaos. Good thing, i sat at the corner next to the exit. Even the exit was being blocked with too many people. They should regulate how many tickets they sell. The dinner was ok. It was traffic getting there. I felt rushed during the whole tour because it was so crowded that I didn't really get to enjoy it.

Amazing time

We enjoyed our half day tour of southern Bali. Gede was great and helpful. We started off at the beach and headed over to Uluwatu temple and gede gave us a good tour of the temple as well. We enjoyed the kecak dance too. Just know that you don’t really have time to see GWK park and there can be really bad traffic after the kecak dance to get home.

Ukuwatu is beautiful, overlooking the cliffs! Beware of the monkeys! A must see of the kecak dance, amazing. Our guide, Ardana is GREAT! He's on time, polite, speaks very good English and very knowledgeable! He knows all the back road to avoid the traffic. If any of you ever go on any tours through Viator, do ask for him, guarantee you won't be disappointed!!

A great tour to southern Bali.

We had a great day on this tour. We were collected on time and taken in a comfortable car down to the beaches on the southern side of the island, followed up by a lovely lunch at a place recommended by our driver, then we went to the Uluwatu temple. Our driver was great, he taught us lots about Balinese culture and the way of life over here. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering.

Relaxing and typical day

Departure at 10 a.m, we had the opportunity to choose an aquatic activity before the visit of Uluwatu. We chooed Jetski(surplus to paid) and then visited 1 beach, it was great to relax and swim. Our driver proposed us to take the lunch and we asked him a typical balinese restaurant. (lunch not included in the excursion price).Then we went to 2 different beaches and we went to Uluwatu Temple to see the beautiful sunset. We enjoyed the Kecak Dance, it was really typical and we appreciated it, however there were a lot of people in a small open amphitheatre... (Most of people were disrespectful and spoke during the dance and left before the end). Then our driver drove us to the Jimbaran Beach for the diner on the sand. We ate seafood, it was really good and a breautiful place for a diner.

This was brilliant. Our guide was amazingly adaptable to where we wanted to go because of time constraints due to Arrival and departure times of our boat. We were met at the time agreed and saw far more than we would have with the organised trips by the ships company. we were also returned to the ship well within time. Our guide was also excellent with his knowledge of the English language and gave us a good insight into his life on the island. Could not have asked for more.

I was travelling in Bali on my own and most viator tours had a minimum of two people per booking, however, this tour allowed single bookings too, so I went for it. The tour claimed to be flexible, so I asked for a few changes, which were done for me painlessly. Staff were very helpful and kind. I asked to be picked up from Ubud and dropped off in Nusa Dua to save on transfer fees, which they did for me for no charge. I also asked for the tour to start at 12pm instead of 9am. My driver, Wayan Suardika, was very kind and arrived promptly. I asked him many questions about Bali, which he kindly answered for me. He didn't take me to any hard sell shops, which was great, as many other reviews of other tours on viator were complaining about this. He took me to a few great beaches, one from the movie Eat,Pray,Love before arriving at the beautiful Uluwatu temple. I didn't want to take part in the seafood dinner, since I am vegan, so we missed that out. He always gave me plenty of time to take pictures and never rushed me. The car was comfortable and air-conditioned. I highly recommend this tour, especially to those who like to mix and match and need flexibility.

Des 3 plages visitées, Padang Padang Beach se prête à la baignade. Nombreux touristes au temple vite vu mais attention aux singes agressifs et voleurs qui créent le spectacle. Guide très protecteur.
