We will visit the most relevant places and while we arrive at each of the destinations we will observe such beautiful landscapes. We will start at the crystal viewpoint, there we will contemplate the impressive forested mountains and we will enter a cave. We will make a stop at the gate of heaven and we will be in the highest part of Querétaro, with 3200 meters above sea level, and we will take the traditional photo of the sky. We will enter Pinal de Amoles, the newly named Pueblo Mágico, and we will look at the beautiful crystalline waters of the Escanelilla River and at the end of the river we will be able to look and take a dip in pure water. We will then visit the El Chuveje waterfall where you will see one of the great waterfalls of the destination, there you will be able to observe a lot of wild flora and fauna such as pigs in the open air. Our day at Rancho Xotolar was easily one of the highlights of our time in San Miguel de Allende. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the kind of genuine warmth and hospitality that makes you feel instantly like part of the family. The entire excursion was flawlessly coordinated. The trail ride itself was spectacular, taking us through breathtaking, ruggedly beautiful landscapes that show you a whole different side of the region. The horses were clearly well-loved, gentle, and highly responsive. A massive thank you to the owner, Tomas, and to Leo and Felix, and all members of their kind and capable family, who went above and beyond to make sure our ride and ranch tour were safe, fascinating, and incredibly fun. Learning about the history and daily life of the ranch directly from them made the experience so much more meaningful. To top it all off, we were treated to a phenomenal, fresh, home-cooked lunch prepared right there at the ranch. If you want an authentic, breathtaking adventure rooted in deep family tradition and hospitality, do not miss Rancho Xotolar. Wonderful day!!

Beth and her cowboys did a great job taking us on a 2.5 hour trail ride through the Mexican countryside. We enjoyed the views and the experience riding the gentle horses. We had an authentic Mexican lunch with our hosts then relaxed at the thermal springs. All in all a great and unique experience!

Locations, food, and guide were amazing

Pasquale, the tour guide, was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. The food was excellent, especially the dessert flan. The 5 stops were more than enough for a hearty appetite. Consider it dinner, it was more than enough. We were fine, but some folks with mobility issues need to know there are lots of stairs. Pasquale patiently waited and double-checked to ensure every person was ok. This was my first food tour. Do it, the venues and food were great.

Not crowded is an understatement

We were lucky enough to have no one else book at the same time we did. The result was a private tour. There were no other groups there either, so we had the entire site to ourselves. Jesus was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the archeological site, but also the animals and plants too. His passion for the area was wonderful. He was kind in answering our questions and remembered them to incorporate into things we talked about later. We learned so much today!
