What are people saying about Salzburg

Apple Streudel and Nocturn.
Exceptional service from the instructor. Involved all customers in the discussions and helped make the dough. There were 12 couples and met some from Canada, Florida, Oregon and UK. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the goulash for lunch was very filling.

Wonderful small group with guide Jakob
My husband and I had a wonderful Sound of Music tour with our amazing guide Jakob! We love that we visited different film locations and learned about the making of the film. He also explained and showed photos of the real Von Trapp family. Jakob was very knowledgeable and funny. We love that it was a very small group. Highly recommended!

Nice start to our time in Salzburg
Although Salzburg isn't a big city, this was a good way to get acquainted with it. Meeting location was easy to find. Maroine was our guide and you could tell he was passionate about his city. He started with some history and a walk though Mirabell Gardens before heading to the old city.

Highly recommended
Connor (the guide) and Ferdinand (the driver) were excellent. Connor was very knowledgeable and was able to tell ‘insider’ stories. There were a fair few stops, but we had enough time at each to explore. Connor was also able to advise other places to visit too. Even my non Sound of Music loving husband enjoyed it.

Well worth visiting
Mitch was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, humorous. The Little Dragon is a very good driver.
The Eagle's Nest has a dark past but is now an excellent spot to look out at the Bavarian Alps, small villages & a lake. Berchtesgaden is a lovely place to stop for lunch.

Excellence ! Delightful and fun! Great views
Easy to book, funicular ride was spectacular with our evening timing around sunset and views of the surroundings from the fortress were amazing. Just follow the signs for Konzert - there wasn’t anyone directing and it is a big place with various terrace restaurants so wasn’t sure exactly how to go but once I asked a staff at a terrace we found the elevator up. The musicians are fabulous and incredibly talented.
An absolutely delightful performance and fun too! Just amazing evening of excellence! Definitely worth it!

Our VIP experience
We loved the whole experience, the boat staff, the wait staff and the folks who were part of the concert were all 100% friendly, professional and helpful. The meal and the views were everything I had hoped it would be. The concert was flawless and they made it fun too. Just need to be aware, it is a castle and not everything is on one floor, it is a 900+year old fortress and there are MANY steps! What a beautiful experience we had, we loved it.

Max and Sammy Davis Jr 😃
The commentator, Max, was great. He confirmed the language the majority of people spoke prior to leaving. He provide facts and jokes on the drive up but kept it to a level people could follow. Never gave too much such that you could not remember the last fact. He even stopped at time to provide updates to a couple that didn’t speak English (language used for our trip). Prior to arriving he gave options of things to do in town and around it like the funicular to the salt mines and overlook point. Our driver, Sammy, handled the bus expertly.

Sensational Music Appreciation
We started with a set course dinner at the top in the fortress overlooking the valley and mountains. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. Then we moved to the concert at a higher level in the Fortress, which had views overlooking the old town and the city lights of Salzburg. The concert was outstanding and would highly recommend not to miss the Mozart concert.

Beautiful Salzburg with a salty past
Whenever I travel overseas to a new city I always book a walking tour. It’s the best way to get to get the highlights and also a few recommendations from the guide. In this case, our guide, Andrea, was excellent at relating the history of Saltzburg including Mirabell Palace and places in the Altstadt.

Amazing Grace
The concert hall was gorgeous. The venue of historic significance and the music transcendental. Special shout out to Matthias Matthew Beckmann- amazing performance and grace. Next morning ran into him at a local coffee shop. So down to earth and friendly. Had a great time and my son is a fan!

Salt Mine Tour
The Salt Mine Tour was not only fun, but extremely interesting. We got to dress up as miners and ride deep into the mine, we slid down two slides and even used a boat to get across one stretch of water! It was a really unique experience, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
