This 4-day Rwanda journey offers a rich blend of nature, wildlife, and cultural experiences across some of the country’s most scenic regions. Beginning along the peaceful shores of Lake Kivu in Karongi, travelers explore Napoleon Island and the Six Islands, witness the unique swimming cows tradition, and enjoy the serene lakeside atmosphere. The journey continues through rolling tea plantations in Rutsiro before entering the lush Gishwati–Mukura landscape, where forests, hills, and conservation efforts come together in a truly immersive setting. The adventure deepens with guided forest activities in Gishwati–Mukura National Park, including the chance to track chimpanzees, spot monkeys, and enjoy exceptional birdwatching. The final day combines a walk along the iconic Congo Nile Trail with relaxation at the natural hot springs of Rubavu and a taste of the town’s vibrant lakeside life, before returning to Kigali.
