We had an amazing experience on the Doha Combo City Tour and Desert Safari—truly the perfect way to spend our one day in Qatar. Our driver and guide, Tariq, was outstanding: incredibly professional, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. He made sure we saw everything we were most interested in and went above and beyond to capture fantastic photos of us along the way. The dune bashing and sandboarding were firsts for us and an absolute must-do—such a thrill and a highlight of the trip! The tour struck the perfect balance between adventure and culture, allowing us to experience Doha’s modern cityscape, historic sights, and the beauty of the desert all in one day. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Qatar. Thank you so much, Tariq, for making this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Great tour . We covered a lot of amazing things to see. Our guide is Abdullah and he is very knowledgeable and accommodating. He went over and above . He took us to other along the way places as we wish even when it’s not in the itinerary. Mid May is already quite hot so we picked the 5am . For tour manager: pls include a heads up if there’s a chance of combining tour schedules so we are prepared to get a message day before. It worked out anyway for us as we ended up with a longer tour to accommodate the 2 schedules .

While transiting through Qatar on a long layover, I wanted to see as much of the country as possible. Decided on doing this tour to see the north despite being in the middle of a massive heat wave. At 10 pm the night before, the operator called to tell me that my 8 am group tour have no group (I presume, because the heat had scared off most people). I totally understood that it means the tour was cancelled, but the operator says they wanted to try to get me on another tour leaving at 9 am. I pinged the operator at 8:45 but didn't hear anything... so by 9:15 I requested a refund from Viator. Five minutes later, I get a call saying that they have another guide assigned and he was on his way and will be picking me up from my hotel at 10:30. I was quite concerned because I had another tour at 3 pm and they assured me that it would be fine since the same owner runs both tour companies. My guide Usman was incredibly awesome - he was friendly, knowledgable and very attentive... took care of every detail and went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience. This is especially of note because he was called in to guide me eventhough he is supposed to be on medical leave for dental surgery recovery. He covered so much ground in the short time we had -- delivering me to remote sites along our route and still got me back in time for a smooth handoff... all the while providing interesting history for context. Usman is definitely the best tour guide I've ever had, and while I am a bit unsure of the tour company's slightly messy logistics, I would not miss the opportunity to do this again if only because of Usman. If you could request a guide, definitely try to get on his tour... because your experience is only as good as your guide.
