After the dryland ride and some playtime in the yard, we’ll dress up a dog in a harness, show you the sled, and talk about the winter gear we use. If we have any puppies, we’ll end the visit cuddling with the next generation of athletes.

Your custom sleds hold two passengers and a guide, pulled by a powerful team of 8 to 12 dogs. One passenger sits comfortably up front while the other stands on the back runner behind the guide to help drive. This is your Signature adventure, an interactive sledding activity, we prefer to have people stand on the runners and drive the dogs, with us on a tag sled as guide throughout the experience. Though sitting in the Sled can be accommodated as needed, especially for children and seniors.

Hike with Siberian Huskies through the boreal forest of Interior Alaska. After a brief tour of the homestead, we will visit the dog yard and you will meet your hiking partner. You will learn to harness your husky, and then together we will embark on a nature walk through the old growth boreal forest that surrounds the homestead. We will point out wildflowers, trees, and animals on our walk up to the top of the ridge, where vast panoramic views of the Chatanika River Valley and the White Mountains await.  We will sit on top of the ridge and enjoy a home-baked snack and a hot drink before we descend back down through the cranberry bushes and ferns to the kennel.
