This tour was made with one simple wish: we want you to feel the real charm of Japan.
We’ll meet at Nagano Station, but if you need a different pick-up spot, just let us know — we’re flexible!
First, we’ll head to Ganshoin Temple in Obuse, where you can see Hokusai’s amazing ceiling painting, created in his final years.
Then we’ll stop by the Hokusai Museum, also in Obuse. It’s a great place to get to know his life and artwork, and the cozy streets around the museum are perfect for a slow, enjoyable walk.
To wrap up the day, we’ll visit Pompoko-no-Yu, a hot spring in Nakano City. The area is known as the hometown of composer Shinpei Nakayama. You can relax in the warm water while enjoying a beautiful view. There’s also a restaurant inside. (meals aren’t included in the tour price).
After the onsen, we’ll drive you back to Nagano Station or feel free to ask for drop-off point.
Enjoy a friendly local experience where you can really feel Japan’s culture, nature, and warm hospitality.
