Overview
Today you’ll spend a half day relaxing in the clear waters of Chemka hot springs, after being collected in a comfy private vehicle from Moshi. Spend time at this oasis with geothermal warm bubbles surrounding you. The pond is crystal clear, making for a relaxing, gorgeous experience. You’ll also have an included lunch to keep you energized.

The hot springs ("warm spring") do not disappoint. They are as beautiful as the pictures. Going early helped us beat the busy time as we were getting out for lunch as most of the crowds were coming. The fish nibble on your feet (does not hurt or tickle) which was fun! There is a swing over the spring also. Ziggy went above and beyond and even took me on a tour of the market in Moshi and to a smoothie place (Wishing Tree) that I wanted to check out. Great tour, very accommodating and a lot of fun!

Peter at Tarry Adventures arranged a day trip to the Chemka Hotsprings. We booked the trip very last minute (literally the night before!) and Peter went above and beyond to sort this out for us! Peter was really friendly and professional and we can’t thank him enough for arranging such a great day! The Chemka Hotsprings were amazing and would definitely recommend a visit, and if you do I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Peter at Tarry Adventures!

I went on Sunday. Bumpy ride there. It was very quiet in the late morning but was super crowded by the mid afternoon. I encourage you to go on a weekday, if possible. The water is deep so not many places to easily stand up on your own, but there are a few. Nicely shaded in many places. No big areas or chairs to just sit around. This is a place to swim and float-not sunbathe. Inner tubes for floating are available for about $5. I enjoyed this adventure.

This is so much fun and unexpected in my visit to Moshi. The water was very clear and clean. The Guide Peter was delightful and took great care of me. The local people were so fun and entertaining. A local took great videos and pics of me. The ride was rough getting there and back but otherwise it was a wonderful time. DON’T MISS
