My husband and I enjoyed our day exploring Mombasa. We went to the tusks, market, Beach with fresh coconuts and cassava chips. Then on to an additional guide for old town history and Fort Jesus. Antoni was the old time guide who was very knowledgeable. It was so hot and humid. We then had lunch at a local restaurant then on to Haller Park. The only down sides of the day were we did not get into the Fort Jesus museum 🫤. (Also there are no hippos at the Haller Park) We also think they should have included waters with the tour... Overall still a good tour.
Antony was thorough and I don't feel there is anything unseen in Mombasa which I still need to see. Antony is a lovely guy but he can be a little opinionated at times and prone to conspiracy theories, that said I found that he wasn't the only one. Moving along, he had a deep knowledge of the history, Fort Jesus, the old town, the new town, the spice markets, the business districts, the tusks, and the government quarter. He's fantastically entertaining for a few hours in Mombasa and the tour is highly recommended.
Excellent tour with Humphrey. I truly enjoyed it! I was lucky, as it was just a tour with he and I, so I had time to ask questions and explore. From "Fort Jesus", to "Spice Market" onward to the famous Moi Ave Tusks. He was full of knowledge and eager to make the experience enjoyable and memorable. I HIGHLY recommend anyone visiting Mombassa/Kenya take this particular tour. You won't regret. (PS: keep around 2k shillings on you for entry into the fort and any tips you may want to leave). Thanks again. Ed
Everything was amazing from start to finish. It is true that you are looking for wild animals, so you might not see some or not as many. But you need to get the guide Salim! He will do his best for you to see as much and have the best experience. Also he knows so much about the animals, with him it's like traveling with David Attenborough. Amazing
It was an amazing experience beautiful sighting we have seen pride of lions warthogs lots of zebras and elephants and the others I couldn’t remember the names
Our guide Kelly was an amazing guy picked us up early from our hotel and he was so friendly and helpful it was one of the best moments I ever had
We had a great tour of Tsavo East, saw many elephants, zebra, various kinds of antelope, a few warthogs, a buffalo from far away, and even a few lion sightings. The first lion sighting was from far away, but for the second the group of lions was right next to the road. Amazing treat! We also saw a Masai village which was another treat. Highly recommended tour.
