I thought about just using taxi’s to/from Cape Greco, but I am SO glad I didn’t! Also better than bus service. 1) Sergio is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the island’s history, and very honest about things he is not an expert in but will provide his thoughts. I felt like I learned so much about Cyprus through this tour, which was invaluable. If I had taken public bus (which is inconvenient) or taxi (expensive), I wouldn’t have gotten the benefit of his vast knowledge. 2) The tour was the perfect length for me. I am glad it was an afternoon tour. Pickup was smooth and on time. Sergio made sure to time it so we ended right around sunset. The sights you see are beautiful, but it was great to have just a quick stop to enjoy the scenery, take a couple pictures. They aren’t really beaches or anything so I felt like the length of time of each stop was quite appropriate. 3) Bring walking shoes (closed toes, sneakers maybe) if you plan on doing the full itinerary as the last 45-minute walk is on a rocky path. 4) If you’re lucky and just your party does the tour, Sergio is happy to adjust the tour to your preferences (maybe useful for groups or 5!). For me, there were only 3 of us on this tour, and I’m glad we stuck to the itinerary. I really enjoyed it as it was planned. 5) Again, I feel like these places were really beautiful but they’re more places you just look and enjoy the beautiful view. If you go without a guide you may not get much more out of them than some nice pictures. Sergio was able to tell us about the geological history of these places, some of the complex history of Cyprus, and more which brought a lot to the experience.
