Beautiful Women
The Meiko was beautiful. It is a lovely experience including the performance, green tea, question and answer session, and activity where you can play traditional games with the Geisha. Our tour guide, Haruka, was very cute and spoke good English as well.

Great tour and it really does take you to restaurants you’re not going to stumble into without a local guide. Our guide was awesome and she answered other questions we had about Japan in general and different cultural questions we had. Really enjoyed it!

Amazing, private, customized tour
Our trip to fro Kyoto to Nara with Katsu was an amazing day trip! Even though the weather tried to rain on our day, we had a wonderful time seeing the bowing deer, cherry blossoms, temples and eating wonderful food at a restaurant Katsu found for us. We also had time to see a few things after getting back to Kyoto where we also walked the red Tori gates. Throughout the customized tour Katsu not only chauffeured us around but also made sure we got into each place we visited and provided commentary on what we were seeing. Definitely a highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend you book with him!

Great tour in Kyoto
I had a great tour with Ali today. He promptly picked me up outside the cruise port in Osaka and we drove to Kyoto. His driving was excellent and he skillfully navigated all the highways, streets and alleys in and around Kyoto. We visited the bamboo forest, Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and Nishiki Market. Ali gave me a lot of information about what I was seeing. He’s super nice and very professional.

Thank you Den for a great tour!
My husband and I did the full day tour with Den and loved seeing all the sites in Nara Park and Uji.
Den was lovely, kind and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. The temples, the shrine, feeding the deer, the delicious traditional Japanese lunch and the matcha tea ceremony were highlights of our time in Japan. I do have some recommendations to make the tour smoother: the coordinates on the app lead us to the back of the building. Just Google the Tully coffee house location for a less confusing map. Den was very good about giving an overview of our day, however, the map she used was not to scale and Nara Park is quite large and the crowds made it hard to navigate at times. We missed our meeting point and were lost for about an hour. The phone number provided for support did not work, but we were able to quickly communicate with the company via text messages on the app. It would have helped if we had specific pre-arranged ranged meeting times and locations so when we did get separated, we knew where next to be. Also, when we were walking next to Den, we got great information, but it was otherwise hard to hear her in the crowded streets. On the bus, she gave great explanations. Overall, we would recommend this full day tour!

Long day , but life...
Long day , but life changing as we need to put our world perspective in place. The calm and understanding of Mito helped everyone take in the enormity of the events of the first atomic bomb snd how the residents still live with the ghosts of the event.

The tasting was both very informative and fun. Kyoko was our host, she's super knowledgeable and friendly, her hints for us non-Japanese speakers for how to remember the different types of sake have been very useful for the remainder of our Japan trip.

This is a must
Wow! This was amazing. We got to hold ancient Samurai swords, learn about Zen meditation and its importance in focusing the mind for Samurai. We then learned proper sword technique and did real sword practice! So much more in depth than we had imagined. Must do!

Amy was a fabulous guide. She was early to meet us, very knowledgeable and got us everywhere we wanted to go. She was responsive to our needs and flexible when we needed her to be. Very grateful for our day in Kyoto and highly recommend her and this tour.

Well Organized with Great Guide
This trip is well organized. You have assigned seats on the bus based on when you book the tour and the pickup location. We were in the third row. Scarlett, our tour guide, was very organized. She made sure we always knew where we were going, what time to be back and where the bus was. She was fun and personable. She gave good explanations of the sites while we were on the bus and then once we got off the bus, she explained exactly where to go and what to do. All of the sites had self guide materials in English, so it was easy to self tour the sites. There was a lot of street food to try along the way. Overall, this was a good value for the money and Scarlett made it a memorable day.

Kyoto Bar Hopping
This was a great tour to visit places that you might not stumble across yourself. We had a great time and would recommend anyone wanting to check out new places and just relax into the night.
Highly recommend this tour and our guide was also very accommodating and friendly.

Worth the early start!
We were extremely lucky to have very sparse crowds at both Fushimi Inari and the Golden Pavilion - definitely worth getting up early! Akiko was delightful and added valuable insights that helped us get more out of the experience, including for our children. She also took lots of photos which was an absolute bonus. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Akiko’s approach to the morning!
