Spend your day in Bonaire exploring Washington Slagbaai National Park on a guided tour. You’ll go off the beaten track in a 4x4 to deserted beaches and blowholes located within the national park, a former plantation turned into an ecological reserve. You’ll have the opportunity to see wildlife, go snorkeling and take a hike for scenic views of the Caribbean. Snacks, lunch and round-trip hotel transport are provided.

This tour is the first of its kind on Bonaire. Your guide is an experienced certified Bonaire guide who also enjoys beachcombing and the search for sea glass. Learn about some local glass archeology and enjoy a narrative of the historic local town of Kralendijk and Bonaire. Upon meeting your guide, we will first tour the Mangroves and Sorobon area. We will then walk along our East coast shoreline, here is where we may find sea treasures. The second beach area will be in Kralendijk, where the shoreline was once a refuse area. This area is where we may find the historic pieces of glass dating from the 1700 and 1800's. You are able to collect glass, however the corals and other organic items are protected as part of the marine park. Small groups ( max. 4 pers. ) Should you wish to look below the surface, snorkel equipment is provided for the search.
