This tour is a great way to see a lot of the island. The van was comfortable and nicely air conditioned. The guide gave us lot’s of good information and let us stay at each location long enough to get the pictures we wanted.
He also pulled over several times for extra sights like to see some wild donkeys and goats.

We booked tour with Viator for this mentioned tour through Shekyna tours. The original tour guide did not show up so I think they replaced with very unprofessional guide that knew nothing about Bonaire. She texted the whole time while driving. Had a bad attitude. Almost ran over someone deliberately. Never got out of car Made up information and missed two of stops listed. Viator refused to refund even half of the fee. Get a taxi and you will be better off.

After we reviewed our records and confirmed that the guide did in fact conduct the tour, your request changed to concerns about the guide’s professionalism and the tour experience.
We would like to clarify that this is the first time we have heard these specific claims about the guide’s behavior. Our guides are experienced, knowledgeable about Bonaire, and committed to providing safe and professional service to all guests. Safety is always our top priority, and any allegation of unsafe driving is taken very seriously; however, we have no reports or evidence supporting such claims from that day.
Regarding the itinerary, tours may occasionally be adjusted due to timing, guest preferences, traffic, or operational considerations, but we always aim to deliver the full experience described.
We understand that not every experience meets every expectation, but refund requests cannot be approved based on conflicting information after the service has been completed. We remain confident that the tour service was provided as scheduled.

Sorry to say we did not enjoy this 3- hour tour. Our pick-up was confusing because they didn't pick us up where we were instructed to go. The van was full, very tight and hard to get in and out of. Could only get in door on one side, so us seniors trying to get in,, climb back to the last row and get over to the seat opposite was hard. I ended up staying on the van for 2 of the 3 stope we made just because it was too hard to get in and out. And there wasn't much to see but more of the same we saw out the windows.
The tour guide, although a nice man, wasn't talking loud enough for the people in the back seats to hear. He commentary wasn't interesting.
It was a very boring tour. I would definitely not recommend it.
I think I gave it 3 stars, but it should have been 2.

Lily was a wonderful driver/guide. She was very knowledgeable about many aspects of her island and answered questions from passengers. We saw the highlights of Bonaire as a cruise shore excursion, great for those who are not snorkelers or divers. The small van was comfortable and cool. It was easy to find the tour group outside the port gates.

Our tour guide, Rosina, was phenomenal. She arrived earlier than the pick up time, was extremely knowledgeable about the island, and never made us feel rushed. The van was cool and comfortable and she provided cold water, if needed. We hit all the hotspots of the island, got off at appropriate sites to look around, and we all had a good time along the way. The tour was exactly as advertised, and we could not have asked for a better guide than Rosina. She provided a lot of laughs and made the tour even better. We would recommend to anybody that is interested in getting a sneak peek to the entire island.

It was a very informative tour and very relaxed. The group was small, about 8-9 people and the van was nice and clean, inside and out, and very good air conditioning in the can. Gino was a great tour guide and driver, and even allowed us to make an unscheduled stop on the way back in so we could get a great distance pic of our cruise ship sitting in the port. It was a fabulous tour and I would highly recommend this company and especially our driver, Gino!

If you want to do some beautiful sightseeing of Bonaire, this is a very good choice. There aren’t a whole lot of options like in nearby much larger Curaçao, so this is one of the better ones.
Our guide was nice, but she was new to the job and worse did not have much knowledge of the history or biology or geology of Bonaire even though she was a native. On top of that, English was not her primary language and communicating wasn’t always the easiest thing to do.
With a better guide, this could have been a five star experience. The sites are beautiful, it’s a good use of your time while in Bonaire.
Our group was glad we went overall.

This was a nice tour. Miguel, our driver, was very informative and showed us everything he thought would be of interest to us. He stopped at the important points and often asked the group if anyone wanted to stop at others. He really made this tour feel customized. Bonaire really is an interesting and beautiful island, and Miguel made sure we saw all of it.

Having been to Bonaire 30 years ago, my husband and I knew there was not much to see other than flamingos, iguanas and donkeys, but since we were with our grown children we who had never been, we decided to go. Our guide was kind but he spoke so softly, the third row kids didn’t hear a word he said. I asked him to speak up repeatedly but he was unable to maintain a loud enough voice. It was mostly a waste of time. Go see the flamingos on your own.

Bonaire also has a lot more to offer than just donkeys, iguanas, and flamingos, like the Salt Flats and Salt Pyramids, the Slave Huts, 1000 Steps, the Flamingo Sanctuary at Goto Lake, and Rincón, the oldest settlement in the Caribbean.

Buyer beware!!! My family and I booked this excursion hoping to enjoy a tour of the island. Our tour guide arrived a half hour late due to vehicle issues. There were 6 total in the party including the tour guide. Upon arriving the guide told us that since he only had a pick up truck, he couldn’t take all of us and that we (myself and parents) would have to wait for another hour for someone to take us. Since my parents are older, and it was sweltering outside, we decided that waiting another hour was not a viable option. I asked for a refund but was only issued a partial refund (25%). The reason given for the partial refund was because we declined the tour when another option was provided to us. Seriously??!!! The “option” given to us was not reasonable. Additionally it was noted that we ‘cancelled’ with the 24 hour window. I have always booked sore excursions through Viator and have never had any issues….until now. I do not recommend this tour. It was a complete rip off.

We are sorry to hear you feel this way. Unfortunately, there were issues with the van selected for your tour. We called you ahead of time to inform you that the tour was delayed because of this, which you told us was fine.
The replacement van was on its way within an hour and we sent our guide to your location to inform you about the issues in person, instead of calling.
We did everything we could to let this tour continue as soon as possible and provided a 25% refund for the inconvenience caused on our side.
As we did provide you with a reasonable solution, when you decided not to agree to this, you therefore cancelled your tour. Our canecellation policy clearly states that we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of your tour date.
Despite this policy, we still provided a 25% refund for the inconvenience.
Nevertheless, we do hope that you enjoyed our beautiful island.

None they provided a 4 seater Toyota for 4 full size adults and a driver for a 3 hour tour. We got off at the 1st stop and my wife could hardly walk because of leg cramps. Took a cab from there back to the ship for $35. Not the Viator service associates we’re used to we want our money back and taxi reimbursement

The tour company contacted us a couple of days beforehand asking for us to change our tour time. It ended up working out well though, and we had a more relaxing morning.
Our tour was actually fulfilled through a company called Shekhinah Tours and the guides were a lot of fun. There were six guests and we got to see the whole island from the comfort of a van. We got out at thousand steps and a few other vistas while the guide explained the history and significance of various locations at the island. I feel like we got a good feel for the island and or was a chill trip after more intense days on Aruba and Curacao. This trip has an upgrade option for a snorkeling experience, the beach they take you to is a little lame. Some place in a less touristy place would have been better.
Overall we enjoyed the conversation with the guide (I can't remember his name and couldn't find it in other reviews) and a chance to see the island in a more laid back manner.

We were disappointed with the tour. We selected the more expensive tour thinking we would see more but it was basically a car ride around the island. We saw where the distillery was but did not go in as apparently a reservation was required. Did not see the donkey sanctuary. No snack or drink was offered. Very little history etc. The vehicle was nice and clean but limited space for 4 adults.
I think the cheaper tour would have been just as good.
Our guide did not speak very loudly so for those of us in the back seat, we heard very little.

My sincere apology to hear what you have experience.
What you said in your review does not really sound like our company.
You paid an expensive tour and that is why you get more time to see and spend time with your Local Guide to get as much as you can get out of your guide and our guide are trained and speak English good. Concerning the distillery, there is no reservation needed to go there because its open to whole Bonaire and for visitors and its a tourist attraction with no reservation needed. We do talk about the donkey sanctuary but in the Itinerary we do not have the donkey sanctuary as a stop location but you do drive past it on your way back to Kralendijk.
Again, sorry to hear that your experience was not as what you though it would be.
Can you please make sure if you have write a review for the right company? The reason why I am asking this is because what you said does not sound like us and 100% of our guests are happy with us because we spend time with them and we make sure our guests get what they paid for.

This tour was great, as was my guide, EJ. He was very personable and informative, pointing sites out as we went along. We saw the salt flats, slave huts, Rincon, sea turtles (at 1,000 steps, which I didn't find strenuous at all), flamingos, wild donkeys, goats, and more! I was grateful to be able to see parts of the island I otherwise would not have seen had it not been for this tour. I also appreciated having wifi, as did everyone in the vehicle! I would recommend this tour!

I had a lovely guided tour of north and south Bonaire. My guides were very knowledgeable and experienced. It was also nice as there was a photographer along from Curacao. The salt mines was very interesting and a great photo. I was glad to hear the information on the history of slavery. The south region was so picturesque. It is a beautiful island. We stopped for a snack in a really cute cafe and I tried some Dutch treats. I felt privileged to have this solo tour. Much nicer than being with a large tour group

Ephraim was a terrific tour guide! He was most informative and personable in showing us the major sights, including 1,000 Steps Beach, the cactus liqueur distillery, historic slave huts & salt flats. Then he took us to the beautiful, private Spice Beach at Eden Beach Resort where we had a great time snorkeling. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him as he enjoyed showing us his island home and made it such a fun day!

I loved the tour we had with this family owned and operated business. Our tour guide was a Bonaire native so he was extremely knowledgeable. he took us around the entire island, stopping at awesome sites (No spoiler alerts here) This tour was very comfortable, loved the small group of 6 plus our guide.
Definitely worth the price paid. Great pictures of the sites especially the one taken of us by our guide.
I highly recommend this tour to all who want a very scenic, informational, enjoyable view of Bonaire!
